Then you shouldn't feel so uncomfortable.

Okay, but I would then get a point to GSP for being in trouble less often.

    Just saw this edit:

Fedor tapped to an armbar set up by a triangle

So no, wrong again, he didn't tap to a choke

You missed my other edit as well. I noticed you care very much about exaggeration that's why I took the time to say in a choke.

I hope that makes you feel better and you continue your raid on exaggeration on this forum.

lmao why not just suck it up and admit you were talking out of your ass when you implied Fedor has been choked out?

for most complete (as TS said) I will have to go with GSP, by a small margin. His offensive skills were efficient and his D was exceptional, that made him really balanced. Add up his cardio and speed/timing, its a monster.

Fedor of course was also great, better offense that GSP imo, but his D was not on the same level. He could finish from everywhere, but his D put himself sometimes in positions he should not be be at.

and well, soon we will include Aldo in this discussion, after he schools Conor.

It was a humoruos exaggeration in a thread filled with exaggerations about GSP. It's also a small detail in a larger discussion.

I know fedor fan boys and GSP haters can't see that. I post to amuse myself.

Convince yourself I'm a liar or just stupid, I really don't care.

I said last few fights, so you go off the last 10 fights to make sense of your argument? Look at the last year of his career.

Fights condit and gets his face torn up, fights Diaz and has probably the slowest paced most boring performance of his career, fights Jonny and has the worst win of his career.

His fighting tools were in abundance earlier in his career, later part of his career those tools started going away or at least the ability to successfully use those tools.

The GSP in his last 3 fights didn't look anywhere near the same GSP. He relied almost exclusively on his TDs and jab. And when those we're taken away from him in the Johny fight he looked lost and had the worst fight of his career.

faustian is clearly more intelligent, discerning and accurate in his descriptions and recollection than you SuperNerd. Please give it up.

    Seriously, it's obvious.

Otherwise, this has been a good thread. I have long felt that the question of best/most well-rounded fighter (amongst the traditional weight classes) comes down to Fedor and GSP. There are good arguments to be made for both sides.

    Enjoyable discussion.

You've completely ditched your point for a new one.

I don't wanna wrestle you either.

When talking about defense, you should also factor in that Fedor is in a division where he is much more likely to get finished or put in troubling positions.

GSP probably more complete, but Fedor more dangerous.

Fedor. GSP fought safe and boring at the end.

A significant amount of GSPs tools diminished over the years, meaning he is not as well rounded as he used to be.

Which implies that Fedor is more well rounded.

    Keeping up OK?
