Discuss, had plenty of people saying they would rather see Jones face either man, I think he will fight Rumble if he beats Cormier, Gus probably needs a win over someone like Bader to get back some momentum.

Gustaffson. Cormier is weaker everywhere and Rumble has 2 good rounds in him max. Gustaffson just matches up well (and kicked his ass the first time).

Probably Gus, because he has the reach and a good style for Jones, Cormier would be 2nd and Rumble last, Rumble would be the most easy fight for Jones, he would be exhausted in round 2 with Jones. Jones beats them all though.

Jones has struggled against fighters with a similar height - reach ....

In Jon Jones UFC debut fight against Andre Gusmao, Gusmao landed over and over again and gave Jones a tough fight.

We all saw what happen in the Jones Vs. Gus fight:

IMO, a 2nd fight with Gus would be Jones toughest challenge ....

Honestly its about equal. They all have a good chance of beating him but Id say Cormier has the slightly less chance of beating him out of all three. Rumble has the best chance of stopping Jones.

I think rumble is the most dangerous due to ko threat but jones wrestling and submission skills get the win. The most difficult fight i think is dc but jones still wins

Anyone that has similar reach will give him problems. He has a ton of genetic advantages that most fighters don't have. Gus is the worst matchup for him followed by DC. Rumble is also a beast.

Cormier is the most toughest matchup
Rumble is the next most worthy opponent
OSP is the next tough opponent
Then Bader ,Glover , Rampage and Gus are about the same and would be toss ups.

I really think Rumble is his most dangerous opponent, followed by Gus, and then DC.

Gus is the toughest match up cause Jones has to chase him around the ring whereas DC and Rumble come right up to Jones and engage him, which is what Jones wants.

Gus because his striking is much better than the other two technically

Gus is tougher for Jones than DC, imo. Rumble doesn't need to go 5 rounds, though. He would have likely 2 rounds to land one shot. If he did it would be all over.

I expect Jones to get his belt back. Then I hope we see Rumble. I'll leave that prediction for if they fight.

I'd say Guy because his size neutralizes advatage Jones has against the others.
That said, I'm not sure Gus can string together the wins needed for another TS.
Rumble is always a threat with his power, but I think Jones would keep him at distance and pick him apart.
DC has the worst chance. He doesn't match up well against Jones, and beyond that, I think Jon is in his head. Seeing the interactions between the two, Jones is always the instigator, and DC is always responding.

Both DC and Gus lanes clean shots on Jones. If Rumble lands clean shots on his opponent the fight can end. Rumble I'd say is the most dangerous.

To me they are all equally tough for Jones.

If Gustafsson fights Jon Jones again, I believe the fight can get a lot tougher for the swede than the first time around.

The thing about Jones is that he has a really deep skillset, he can use a completely different strategy and he can beat his opponents in many different ways.
I don't think Cormier, Johnson or Gustafsson can do that, these guys have only one strategy and one effective set of skills and strengths.

That is, considering that the Jones that is coming back is the same Jones from before at least, which remains to be seen.

It wasn't Gus' height/reach that allowed him to give Jon Jones a great fight, it was his style/skillset. If it was about height/reach, Gus wouldn't have lost to Davis, Rumble, or DC.
