With Horiguchi winning dominantly tonight, it reminded me that Demetrious Johnson doesn't have a fight scheduled for 2015.

John Linker is facing Ian McCall at UFC 183, probably n.1 contender fight.

John Moraga was supposed to face Jussier Formiga, which was the n.1 contender fight at the time. In exchange, Moraga faced Wille Gates and beat him via 3rd Sub, solidifying a 2 fight win/sub streak.

John Dodson was supposed to fight Demetrious Johnson but got injured. I have no time line on his rehab, so I can't tell in he is ready or not.

Linker vs McCall winner? Moraga ? Dodson?

Edit: Well tonight Lineker defeat McCall, but yet again missed weight, and this time is forced to fight at bantamweight for next fight. Who is left for Demetrious....... Moraga rematch? Push Horiguchi into a title shot ? Wait for John Dodson to come back? (July).

Stick him in the co main of the Pettis/RDA card and I don't care who he will be fighting unless it's Dodson or McCall/Lineker.

Horiguchi vs a top 10 opponent could clear up a contender for later this year.

That's what I was thinking, UFC 185 seems like a perfect timing for him. But McCall/Lineker is at 183, I doubt they would want a short training camp for Demetrious, unless the fight gets finished early and the winner had no trouble jumping right back into camp, which is always a possibility.

Dodson won't be back till beginning of summer, he has an ACL tear.

This pretty much leaves us with Moraga, safest bet.

A lot of injuries happened that screwed over the division. Lineker vs. McCall for example was already suppose to have happened.

Winner of McCall/Lineker. Moraga 2 is pointless. Any word on Dodson?

Due to injuries, Kyoji Horiguchi is your best option. Otherwise MM waits till June.

I'm assuming the plan was for TJ vs Cruz and DJ vs the winner of Lineker and McCall on the same card before everything fell apart.

I see. July is a little too long to wait. Any word on Formiga's health?

More like Moraga 3 since he was practically subbed twice in that fight.

Doesn't matter, no one in the current top 10 is beating DJ.

Guy is going to have a nice title reign.

Harry doesn't want no part of MM yet. Said so during the press conference.

True. I don't know if it would be good matchmaking in terms of making contenders, but a fight I'd like to see would be Moraga/Benavidez. I think the styles could clash well, though I'd assume Benavidez would likely come out of on top.

He is the only threat to DJ if he can make weight.

Moraga/Benavidez makes the most sense. It would shock me if that wasn't their next matchup.
