Hard to say because Khabib just fought. Time will tell but i'm going to go with Khabib. 29-0 is unheard of.

    1. a traditional story sometimes popularly regarded as historical but not authenticated.
      "the legend of King Arthur"

    2. an extremely famous or notorious person, especially in a particular field.
"the man was a living legend"

    Both are legends :D

Nostalgia fans will say Hendo, but the reality is it's easily Khabib, not even debatable really.

its very debatable. khabib was obviously more successful but he never took chances going up, never did anything legendary imo. very dominant very consistent but not exciting, not legendary... hendo will live on, khabib will not...

Khabib is the much, much better fighter.
But Henderson K.O.ed Fedor, and also scored the best k.o. in UFC's history (you know which one).

Time will prove that Khabib is a legend. Khabib was never in trouble during his 29-0 run (longest undefeated streak in the UFC), which makes his run that much more remarkable.

Without even mentioning all his other fights, Khabib/Conor and the build-up to it was easily more exciting than anything Hendo has ever done in his entire career. At least IMO.

Tbh I shouldn't have acted like this was objective, it's very debatable you're correct on that. If you think Hendo's more of a legend than Khabib, no one can prove you 'wrong' lol.

and u can easily argue that it was all because of conor, not khabib. proof is in the pudding, khabib's last fight was marketed a shit ton and didnt sell nearly as much as expected

This is delusional lol. If you want to argue it was mostly because of Conor, sure. Khabib was already one of the most popular UFC fighters before he fought Conor, not to mention the clash of their personalities and fighting style, and the bus incident. Why did Conor/Cerrone not sell as much? Why didn't Conor/Diaz sell as much? Or Conor/Alvarez?
Not really, not more than any other PPV.
Dana definitely overhyped it a fuck ton, but it sold nearly 700k and it was a mid-day PPV. Khabib/Poirier sold a million PPVs. The majority of Khabib's fanbase don't even buy PPVs, that's a very impressive number.
