Simple question, which is more likely to win a UFC title?

Khabib Nurmagomedov 23-0-0 (8 TKOs, 7 SUBs)

or

Thomas Almeida 20-0-0 (16 TKOs, 3 SUBs)

Khabib for sure, Almeida has a lot of potential but Khabib is the uncrowned champ at 155

Khabib has the wrestling to grapple the belt out of anyone's hands. His striking though is a little suspect, but due to his grappling, it's hard to expose his hands.

Almeida have ferocious killer instinct but he tends to get tagged a good amount, so someone like TJ or Cruz would present challenges. I don't know much about his grappling / wrestling but I've seen that his defense is quite solid.

Overall I think the eagle has a higher chance of getting the belt faster due to his #1 contender position and likely hood of a title shot next

Eventually, Almeida. He's got time, and the division isn't as deep as lightweight.

In the short term, Khabib, if he stays healthy.

Khabib has the grappling to become champion, I know I might get flamed for this but I think Almeida lacks footwork. T.J and Dominick will be road blocks.

How about both with Khabib getting his first.

Almeida only because unfortunately Khabib is in a weight class where the GOAT LW is the current champ. Not to worry, Khabib will def get his chance at the title first, but will lose to RDA 2.0. Then Khabib will be forced to go up to WW where the competition is bigger and stronger.

And I'm not even an RDA fan.

Come at me, Sherdog!

Khabib by a country mile.

Khabibs already got a win over the champion of his division.

Almeda's just getting his feet wet. He's very talented but has a long way to go and we don't know how he'll develop. Nolove may just shut him down.

Also, I don't see Almeida getting passed either Cruz or TJ. So like, neither is my answer?

Khabib should be more likely, his skill set is great and he seems to be good at implementing game plans. His physical fitness has been a huge barrier though, and he has come in over weight in the past.

As much as I love Almeida I am not 100% convinced he can ever win the belt. He's very young and has time to improve, but I feel that Dillashaw and Cruz would would be too technical for him and would make him pay for trying to brawl, at least based on what we've seen so far.
