Jeffrey John Novitzky (born December 15, 1967) is the Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance for UFC. He previously served as an agent for the Food and Drug Administration investigating the use of steroids in professional sports. Before April 2008 he was a special agent for the Internal Revenue Service who investigated the use of steroids for over five years.[1]

Schaubs best contribution to MMA to this day
He is part of the UFC "spin machine" for high profile fighters who get caught cheating. Of course HE thinks that jones took the "juice" unintentionally. He probably believes, as jones does, that jones' daughters are a curse and he won't be blessed with a son until he straightens up. He probably, also, believes that jones only did "coke" once and that he was a snitch on all of his friends who smoked marijuana. I think he also believes jones did not crash into the pregnant lady and come back for his crack pipe. UFC spin, guys.

Does he work for USADA or not? He seems to have this weird consultancy role, it's almost like he works directly for the UFC.

I think he's in a top position with the UFC in regards to fighter's health and stuff. From what I heard on the podcast with Rogan, he's the middle man for USADA and UFC as he helps the fighters with how to follow rules and what to do and also helps USADA when it comes to rules in certain situations

He never worked for USADA and is literally a UFC employee.
Not really relevant but I actually walked a minute or two next to him while exiting the Saitama Super Arena after OSP vs Okami. I'm a solid 6'1 and Novitzky dwarfed me. It was funny because you could spot him from a mile away among the Japanese crowd and I seemed to be the only who knew who he was.
