A year ago I'd have said CM Punk, now I'll settle for Askren.

out of your options, i would say askren followed by chandler then gaethje. i think all of them would be top 10 in the ufc... minakov, khalidov, pitbull freire, marlon moraes and bibiano fernandez would probably all do decent in the ufc too.

if you're asking who's CURRENTLY the best fighter then fedor should not be listed of course. anyone who gets the tar kicked out of them that bad by fabio maldonado isn't talented enough to fight in the ufc.

Fedor is the obvious answer. But if we're talking about those that could currently fight and possibly be competitive, all those that TS mentioned are pretty interesting.

I think if Fedor trained MMA like it was 2016 he could still be competitive. He would need a strength and conditioning coach, a dietitian, and need to train at a top gym with other top HW's and LHW's.

While Fedor imo was always beatable, he didn't start losing because he was out of his "prime" or lost his ability, it's because he wasn't putting the same effort into his training.

Ever, Fedor for sure. But he isn't Fedor anymore.
