For years, this wasn't even a question one would ask. The answer was obvious: Nick.

But Nate has come of age and has had fine career moments of his own.

So who is currently better?

Who is all time better?

Who has the best win on his record?

Their younger brother, Norm, is probably the best. Hope to see him in the UFC one day.

Still nick imo, nate has had the better career tho.

They've always been basically the same fighter, as close as your going to get anyway. They're the same to me. I can see why people always thought Nick was better but I always thought Nate was just as good. Sherdog voted Nick Diaz the most durable fighter in the history of mma and I was wondering why Nate wasn't even listed in the hororable mention section. Nick's win over Gomi is the most epic win either one of them have had.

Nick is more well rounded overall. He has a slightly more diverse striking skillset, and works the body a little better to set up his head shots.

According to Andre Ward, Nate is more technical in boxing while Nick is tougher, in-your-face type.

Nate has a cleaner resume IMO, he's been with the UFC this whole time. Nick had to go to Strikeforce to build a name for himself and when he came back he couldn't win anything.

its a toss up.

ill go with nick right now.

but this is a huge win for nate. personally i think it is bigger then any of nicks wins.

Nick Diaz for sure. They both have a lot of losses back in the day to fighters that were less than top shelf but I think if you look at who Nick Diaz has fought in the past 5 years and beaten versus the fighters that Nate has taken out, you see that Nick is the bigger, better fighter who only really loses to the best of the best (these days, anyways). Nate seems to be going on another hot streak right now like had had leading up to Bendo completely tooling him so stay tuned.

I really miss watching Nick fight.

Currently better - Nate. Nick is suspended.

All time better - honestly Nate. Nate has fight killers his entire career. Nick was crushing cans for a while.

Best win - Gomi. Gomi was unbeatable when Nick hit a gogoplata on him.

I still think Nick big brothers Nate.

I don't know better, but sure Nate is more underrated

In terms of notoriety absolutely. When you look at it in the context of him beating a FW at 170 becomes a little less impressive in actuality than KO'ing Paul Daley in his prime or choking out Gomi with a gogo. I know what you're trying to get across, though.

Big brother power is the same as Dad power. Especially if your big brother played a paternal role in your life. Nick gets the edge.

i always forget nick was fucking baked when he put gomi in the gogo.

you pretty much explained what i didnt even write, and you did it much better. in terms of conor being a fw and jumping up to 170 does make it less impressive, but considering the whole knocking out aldo in 13 seconds, talking abit and getting an immediate shot at rda to get the chance to be a multi div champ added a whole load of woah to this all.
