Not counting their losses in the middle.. which fighter always wins by decision?
Brad tavares - last 9 UFC wins are by decision.
Jon Fitch recently broke his streak of 13 straight decisions over a span of 9 years
I think the BJ fight was a legitimate draw. BJ won rounds 1 and 2 but Fitch definitely got a 10-8 in the 3rd so 28-28 was correct to me.Not counting losses?
Fitch by a mile.
13 consecutive wins by decision, with one draw in the middle (should've been loss though)

It depends on your definition of 10-8 round but for my money, Penn literally did nothing in that round except get pounded on from guard so I definitely would have given a 10-8.Well, he was in full control in BJ's guard and pounded him like crazy, but no guard passes (if I recall) and his fists literally left no mark on BJ's face.
So I'd still give Fitch 10-9 only. He could be more impressive - for example, in Paulo Thiago fight when he took his back and nearly finished him, or with Erick Silva.
I actually Fitch gets more $hit than he deserves...
Can you think of a fight where BJs face was marked up? He has like the most durable skin of any fighter I can think of. His last couple of fights he's been busted up some, but prior to those I can't recall him ever really looking like he took much damage (though skin bruising/cuts aren't necessarily indicative of all possible damage).
And I agree about Fitch. Not the most exciting fight style to some people, but I always like watching him (and GSP) because he was so dominate.
I think the Nick Diaz fight was the first time he looked really bad, but the second fight with Matt Hughes I can't recall how he looked, he must have been busted up from that? Can you think of a fight where BJs face was marked up? Yep, Past his prime Penn got smooshed a couple times. IMO it was the last GSP fight, where he was utterly destroyed, that was hen he started to take more damage, and damage that showed.
I just rewatched the end and Penn's face looks fine when Big John stops it.
but even after the first Frankie fight he was pretty marked up at the post fight presser.
Even after the draw with Fitch, his face didn't look as fresh as it normally did earlier in his career.

But different people show damage differently. GSP showed damage very easily, whereas Penn was the opposite. Penn reminds me of Hunt who I also don't recall showing damage as readily as most - early in their careers.
It always baffles me when guys just don't bleed, don't cut, don't bruise. That's some crazy genes
