*Who has better BJJ, RDA or Ferguson?*

Tony Fergusons BJJ consists of 100 different set ups to the D'arce and that's about it.

RDA
but Tony has the better submission chance, considering that it's not a BJJ match it's an MMA fight

Rda, but Ferguson has a nasty darce game...

RDA...how is this a thread?

Outside of his D'arce and maybe his rolling leg locks Tony does not offer much - RDA all the way.

People say that RDA but the don't say why.
At the end of the day Tony's "inferior BJJ" will be good enough for RDA think twice about going to the ground with Tony.
I think that the fight will be a striking battle and at some point Tony will find RDA's chin and capitalized on him for a TKO.

RDA, but not by so much that Ferguson's very active guard won't pose some problems for RDA to ride out top position for the rest of the round if he gets a takedown.

RDA, I think Tony is a purple belt

Tonys BJJ is a wild high risk style which ends up looking great against mid level grapplers but against a truly elite BJJ guy like RDA he's just going to lose position and get shitted on. People harp on Diaz BJJ, RDA treated him like his bitch on the ground. Passed his guard like 6 times and just completely shitted all over him.

You don't need to say why RDA's BJJ is better than Cucuy's, just like you don't need to explain why Anderson Silva's striking is better than Hendo's striking. Can Hendo put anyone away with his H-Bomb? Yes, does that mean his striking is better than Anderson's, no.

Ferguson, he will finish RDA if the fight go there.

Of course, belts don't always tell the story when it comes to grappling and submissions in MMA. Case in point: Anthony Pettis vs. Charles Oliveira. I'm pretty sure Bendo and Gil also have better BJJ credentials that Pettis, but he subbed them as well. And while Jon Jones is a bit of an anomaly, due to his size and wrestling, he's another low level BJJ guy who has submitted black belts.

Defensively RDA by a long shot

Offensively I am sure RDA as well but Ferg at least eagerly hunts for subs any chance he gets in his fights whereas RDA prefers the ol safe position over submission way of fighting so its hard to measure

Anjos is more of a top control guy, more traditional, while Tony's got more tools and comes with the Bravo moves, constantly throwing different looks at you. But he also loses position regularly because of this.

Most likely RDA will be on top when they fight, unable to do much other than defend Tony's set-ups and sub attempts. I think they'd have a draw in Metamoris (unless they changed the rules) and Tony wins under EBI rules. In MMA the top control favors RDA.

It is very evident how good Anderson's striking skills are. RDA's BJJ.... mmm.., not really. At least not comparing with Tony's BJJ.
