Who has a better chance to get a title shot again? Weidman or Rockhold?

Both men gotten some shitty luck with the fights lately and hasn't look good as of late.

Both are elite and pretty well rounded.

Rockhold doesn't tuck his chin and Weidman just fights beasts and is competitive or winning until he gets finished.

Weidman can get a TS with a win over Jacare. That's a hard fight, though, and he'll probably be the underdog for good reason.

Rockhold will need two good wins minimum to get another TS given how top heavy MW is. Probably 3 wins.

So Weidman has it much easier now.

Weidman seems brain dead delusional thinking he deserves a shot before Yoel.

either can get a TS with 1 or 2 wins, in this moment the winner of Jacare/Weidman (the fight that should be made) should face the winner of Rob/Romero, Gastelum can fight Rockhold as well

Rockhold and Weidmen got USADA'd, simple as that. Their shortcomings have surfaced so much after 2015. Both dudes are young as well, not really an age thing.

That is just so much garbage.

Was competitive with Yoel, Luke, and Mousasi before losing. He could beat any of them on the right night.

Neither have had their physiques change except Weidman who doesn't look as big but was a known IV user and said bc of the ban he needed to lean out some so that could play a part.

Neither of their athletic abilities have diminished at all. Especially Luke.

They are fighting top 5 guys consistently. They either eventually lose or get the belt. As soon as the former happens people cry USADA. It's nonsense.

It might just be confirmation bias, but Weidman has looked far less durable since that stupid amount of ground and pound he took from Luke. Weidman and his camp seem to develop a great game plan for edging the first two rounds, but it takes Weidman too much energy. He seems incapable of keeping it up, and then starts telegraphing what he's going to do because he gets reliant on whatever has given him some success in the fight. He pretty much served up his head to Yoel and did the same with his neck to Mousasi.

I don't know if he's got a better chance than Rockhold or not. I'm not convinced he can take more punishment at this point, and he seems less capable of getting a finish. I guess I like Rockhold's chances better even though I'm not a fan and will be rooting for Chris.

Or Rockhold. He was beaten by both. And his only win since has come against Gastelum, whose almost as delusional as he is for demanding a title shot.

Weidman, maybe. But Rockhold not as much. That defense of his has been a problem since his UFC debut.

rockhold.

problem is whittaker fucks em both up, god damn whittaker is good.

jacare already earned a title shot

weidman needs to fight a branch/romero tier guy and if he wins that maybe he'll get a TS or #1 contender fight

With a win over Brunson?
he was owed a title shot like 2 years ago

if ppl r cool with romero getting a shot off of a title shot loss then surely jacare has earned a title shot

Id say Weidman because he seems to be riding off his one victory and not accepting any other fights until he gets a shot. Through attrition he will eventually be the only contender who is coming off a win, even if its a year later.

Jacare was going to get a title shot but Whittaker kicked his head in.
