Who else is happy that UFC/Bellator are moving to streaming services as opposed to cable?

There is no way I would pay $100+ for cable just so I can watch UFC on ESPN and Bellator on Paramount.

I would be much more willing to pay $5 for UFC on ESPN+ and $10-$15 for Bellator (and all the other sports they have) on DAZN.

Streaming is the future.

If they all went all in on the same streaming service i'd be happy. As it stands, I need, ESPN, Paramount, NBCsports, and FS1.

So Fightpass and DAZN is extra income and not exactly replacing the fights on cable.

Bellator won't do well with just Paramount if they move a lot of their events to streaming on DAZN.

The Rory/Mousasi, Rampage/Wanderlei, WWGP card ain't going to be on cable. It's exclusive to DAZN, which ain't in the iOS Apple App Store in USA yet.

thats my thoughts. all in one place and anywhere I want to stream it. cable has tons of channels with nothing worth watching 90% of the time.

Cable television gave up on itself a long time ago. Every channel is reality tv 80 percent of the time. Some of my favorite networks as a kid just turned into garbage. The only thing I can watch on tv now is the news(which is pushing it, that shit is just as ridiculous) and sports. I could never justify paying for cable if my roommates weren’t all about it so we all chip but if it were my call, no effin way it’s trash
