Please don't think I am a casual to MMA or fight sports for saying this but MMA and especially UFC bores me terribly. Honestly I come to Sherdog to see about Anderson, Nick Diaz, Jones and whoever is the WW or HW champ- but everything else is just boring.

I find myself looking more at Mayweather articles then MMA, seems like all of the MMA heros have fallen and on top of that, the sport is getting boring (new breed) and I don't know if I can get excited about it again. Fedor maybe coming back is about the only relevant thing in MMA right now, everyone else who was exciting is done for drugs or retired, I feel like I am in a pinch....

    How do you feel?

If you are interested in Steroid Silva, Junkie Jones and Pothead Diaz only it's not everyone else's fault.

    The lighter weights & females
is where to be looking. WW & LW
are always solid. A big problem
Is the frequency of certain champions
fights. I will say that boxing has been
grabbing my attention much more than
usual lately. Matthyse, golovkin & koreshkov
    are murderers.

No I have always followed boxing, and am gravitating to it more is all. For MMA styles AND personalities make the fights I want to see, yet BOTH are fading away. Fine if you do not agree with me- that is what discussion is about i say

I've been a fan of mma for about 15 years now. Honestly, I'm pleased to see how the sport has developed and progressed into mainstream. I watched my favorite fighters come up, maintain, and more recently, fall/retire. I will watch the occasional fight but now that I'm in my twenties, finding time, and the effort to stay involved with mma is simply not a priority anymore. Being an adult is weird. Kids, don't grow up too fast.

Well i can somehow relate altho i don't agree
but I can't figure out how you can find MMA boring, and Mayweather (one of the most boring persons in boxing) not..

I do miss the Diaz brothers.. the brought a certain realness what is missing in MMA right now. To much fake Conor shit going on.

These threads pop up every once in a while. I got bored with MMA years ago...

But Fedor's return might spark an interest.

Claiming the sport is boring without giving 1 example of how it is boring...

My interest has gone down for sure but the news of Fedor coming back had me drooling. I really hope he signs with ufc as that will be a huge factor in boosting my interest.

Im not really bored with MMA, but if I compare it to the old days of UFC which i grew up with and grew to admire, it sort of still had a mystique and aura that is somehow missing now. I guess it part of the sports evolution.
