I know that this is a dumb question but is green tea bad if you training for a fight or just training in general (i know its healthy but for fighting). Also what are some drinks while ur outside of training but want to stay healthy?

haha Sorry if i sound dumb lol thanks peoples :)

Why would it be bad for you? lol as long as you dont buy the stuff from the stores that are in the bottles and just stick to packetts you should be fine.

Remember to add lemon to it. There is another thread on this that has the link to the article on Yahoo. When you add lemon to it, it will be much better for you and it even taste better. I use my coffee maker to brew my tea and I put a lemon right in the pot.

Give White Tea a try, it tastes better than Green Tea, has more "health benefits" and comes from the same plant just at an earlier stage.

^^Yes, white has a much less bitter taste.

You can also try Redbush tea or Rooibos tea, it has the equivalent health benefits (some would argue more) and is caffeine free - I also prefer the taste.

oo thank you ill give white tea and those others a try. also some people say that acai juice is a scam what do you guys think? does it work? personally i never bought it...fukking expensive lol

Green tea is awesome as well as white teat. you can even get a mixture of the two.

Great health benefits.

Acai has some proven antioxidant benefits, but no more than other ao rich foods. Its being marketed as a new superfood, but you pay through the nose for it, if you happen to live in brazil and you can pick it fairly cheaply then great, otherwise do yourself a favour and buy some green/white/redbush tea and handful of nuts, or a bowl full of blue/blackberries instead.

I think I read that green tea inhibits protein absorption, so best not drink it at the same time you take a whey shake or something. I also think I read it inhibits iron absorption, but when adding lemon to it that is no longer the case... I think ;)

I put a little spoonful of honey in my green tea and that's it. I heard that a little bit of honey like that is good for you. Anyone want to confirm/deny that?
