who doesnt enjoy comedies

I rented Ted. My GF wanted to see it. Not bad. Three people mentioning Mark Wahlberg comedies.
By the way, are you still Russian?

Depends on how rich you are...

I absolutely loved and laughed.. my ass off at the first Hangover. 2 was a real disappointment. Didnt even bother with 3.'

I didn't even really care for the second one that much either. The first one is a classic though.

3 was better than 2 though IMO.

Honestly stand-up has kind of ruined comedies for me. I get to where I'd rather listen to a good stand up comedian then some new comedies.

They're still some good ones out there that I LOL at. Not saying there isn't.

I watched Hangover III last night and maybe laughed 3 or 4 times, and that's being generous.

Haven't seen H3 yet. The first one was funny and H2 had it's moments.
And I agree with Stand up over a comedy movie.

i used to like comedies when i was a kid. not anymore. I watch mostly serious movies now and watching comedy movies piss me off when someone does something stupid. Am i the only one who does not enjoy comedy anymore?

I understand, a lot of comedies are stupid, in a bad way (like the ____ Movie series), not in a good way (like Naked Gun).

Same thing with a lot of genres. Most horror movies are bullshit, action movies aren't as fun anymore either. Romantic comedies are offensively stupid. Hollywood is just dumbed-down.

Comedies are just a different for a lot of people. NG's were hilarious. Same with the Police Academy movies, up until 4.
But I agree, Hollywood is dumbd down.
And I just hate how there are so many remakes.

There has been a tidal wave of bad comedies lately, but there are definitely some good ones. I enjoy a good comedy, and they're out there.

I thought 2 Guns was pretty funny.

I just finished watching "We're the Millers," there was a couple of funny scenes, but I hate the predictability of comedies. Very few funny movies out there in my opinion, and there's a shit ton of comedies that just are not funny to me. I tried watching "Knocked Up" not too long ago and just couldn't even finish the movie.

I do, but the older I get (only 31 now), the more my tastes become very narrow. Very few comedies make me laugh anymore, I've found my niche and I'm sticking with it. I'm about to watch 'Alan Patridge: Alpha Papa' tonight, now that is my bag - although I've been told it's a letdown, so I might end up hating that too, haha.

I prefer comedy-dramas, but comedy is still my favorite genre if it's done right.

I like comedies but usually good comedies that don't insult your intelligence. Comedy that is more then just dick and fart jokes. Will Ferrell comedies usually are good most of the time. I don't really care for movies like There's Something About Mary.

One of my favorite comedies is O Brother Where Art Thou, Coen Brothers are some of the best filmmakers hands down.

comedies are my favorite type of movie, though it's pretty hard to come across a good one.

Don't have the attention span or patience required for the bolded, unless it's a good documentary film.

Lol at it pissing you off.
- "Spills orange juice on suit"

Ts- Gah i hate you and this sucks.

Lighten up Anchorman 2 is out soon.

I love good comedies. It's too bad that they are few and far between.

There isn't much worse than watching an unfunny comedy.
