I don't really like it as a fan because it hurts cards like UFC 200. It is also hurting a lot of fighters Chad Mendes who got a 2 year suspension for skin cream. doing that hurts the UFC as a whole plus they have to pay for them to hurt their Business

Your right, let fighters get juiced to the gills

#banDrugtesting

If you believe excuses like "skin cream" I don't know what to tell you....

if they didn't test, they would probably cease to exist eventually

Probably helps non roided fighters from getting their heads beat in by roided fighters.

I think anyway.

I'll say it again.

will get worst before it get better....

You had to make two threads on this just now?

wtf cyborg, let it go

its over

USADA helps fighters that can stay up to date on the latest doping methods and technology.

If you aren't cheating. And only taking tested, and cleared supplements. You have nothing to fear.

You don't put anything in your body that has not been tested first. It's really that simple. Imo, if you pop now. Its your own fucking fault. There are ZERO legit excuses for popping now. And it should be treated that way.

Ignorance is not an acceptable defence. Not after this long. If you don't learn by the very public mistakes others have made. You're not a pro. You're not smart either, and deserve to get nailed.

Take the MM route...He doesn't take supplements. Makes sense, right ? You can't accidentally get popped for tainted supplements if you don't do any supplements at all.

USADA is garbage. The way the athletes are treated - getting their doors pounded on at 5 in the morning, grabbed in the supermarket with their wives like Mighty Mouse was... that's just sickening. Having to register and tell somebody where you're going to be at every moment. WTF?

I have no idea why MMA fans support this bullshit. Most of us agree we want PED's out of the sport, but how freedom should you be expected to give up?

What if the government said "we're gonna cut down on child pornography", we'd all say "fuck yeah, fuck those scumbags, etc". But then their way to cut down on it is to randomly show up at everyone's door randomly one morning and have a bunch of tech guys come into your house and scan through every electronic device you have, all your emails, etc. It would cut down on child pornography, but would that be just?

You are a dumb ass mark if you bought the skin cream excuse. In fact you are a dumb ass mark if you buy 99% of the fighters excuses.

LOL @ skin cream. Did people really buy that fucking excuse?!? Could've sworn there was a dermatologist who came out too and said Chad would have had to lay in a bathtub full of that cream for hours to get close to popping for the amounts he did.

Don't you think it's more likely Chad did the research, chose to take a skin cream for his condition that contained a steroid, bought a bunch of that same steroid on the side (not cream), and went to town? Seems like it would be the perfect excuse to pop hot for that substance and I think Chad knew that but USADA looked close enough at the data to know it bs

Who knows, maybe all the skin cream for his condition contains steroids and he had no idea, but I doubt it. And I don't think Chad is that blind and would've caved to USADA's decision so quickly and quietly if he wasn't guilty. I'd imagine he'd go mark hunt level crazy at UFC and USADA if he really got a 2 year ban for only using his prescription skin cream. It's a near career killing decision and we've barely heard a peep out of the guy since it happened....

I definitely wouldn't want that in my life, but these guys are being paid and it's become part of the job just as it would be for an olympic athlete.

But I do think it's bullshit that these guys are considered "private contractors" and have to go through this kind of intrusive shenanigans without getting the benefits of being a full time employer . That's not ok and I imagine wouldn't hold up in court if actually fought out

I believe the UFC saw the future law suits regarding brain damage / PTE in sports and wanted to defend by showing they did everything in their power to protect their guys from steroid abusing fighters . They know they opened themselves up BADLY when they were doing stuff like protecting TRT fighters and not letting their opponents know they had exemptions (Vitor/chael/marquardt). Hence the huge change in their PR regarding steroids and the millions going into the 3rd party organization USADA to oversee their drug testing
