Out of the current top 10.

Stipe
Reem
Werdum
Cain
JDS
Rothwell
Andrei
Browne
Hunt
Barnette

And throw in Lesnar while we are at it.

And this is 235-245 Rumble we are talking. Who does he beat?

I honestly think he is around 50/50 with most of them. He obviously has more trouble with the wrestlers, but there isn't a guy on that list he can't knock out.

Hunt vs Rumble gives me a special feeling in my private parts...

haha. I think I'd take Hunt if I had to bet, just because of his chin. Would be a lot of fun for as long as it lasted though.

Nobody. If he was confident he would do well at HW he would be at HW.

I'd probably pick him straight up over Barnett. The rest of them my rationale for his victory would start with "If he..."

Arlovski/Browne. Maybe Barnett and Overeem.

The combination of athletic/explosive and super Samoan, the MMA world ain't ready fo dat.

As far as guys on that list goes, he's 1-0. He was also fighting at 170 a few years ago, so that means that there was nobody at 185 that he could have beat? Almost everyone fights at the lowest weight that they can make, it's not a confidence thing.

Ok, let me explain to you how this works:

NOBODY dehydrates themselves and thus shortens their life span to cut weight FOR FUN. Rumble is doing that because he is avoiding HW. He is avoiding HW because he doesn't think he can do well there. If he thought he could have potential at HW he would be fighting at HW because HW TITLE IS THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS ONE IN ALL COMBAT SPORTS and everybody dreams of getting it.

ONLY the heavyweight champ is THE BADDEST DUDE ON THE PLANET.

The fact Rumble doesn't even entertain the idea of going to HW tells you all you need to know.

You are welcome.

Hard to say for sure, my guess would be though that the very tough HW's(JDS, Rothwell) potentially represent the worst matches for him.

How does your weird post reconcile with the fact he's already beaten Arlovski, a guy on the verge of a HW title shot recently?

He beat Arlovski ya goof

So what? If he has already beaten Arlovski (who is top 10) how come he won't go up to HW?

You goddamn goofs.

Rumble himself said, quote: "Nah, those guys are too heavy for me, I'm staying at lhw" to Megan Olivi I believe.

um, Thank You?

Don't get so pissed about it man. For one, he has fought at HW, against Alrovski, and won. So to say he hasn't entertained the idea doesn't make sense. And as far as the weight cut being grueling, the fucking beast used to make 170, 205 must be laughable for him. And most prestigious title? If Jones is LWH champ, and Miocic is HW champ, and Rumble has his choice of who he wants to fight, he would make more than twice as much money fighting Jones. Rumble/Jones makes way more money than Rumble/Miocic, and he'd be getting PPV points for that fight. Why would any smart person fight a bigger dude for half as much money?

Arlovski :p

Seriously though I think he could do work at HW, though I think he'd lose as many as he'd win, there are just so many big punchers at HW.
