Who does Robert Whittaker beat at LHW?

Everyone bar Gus. (Ignoring DC and Jones).

Crazy to think that a guy that fought at 170 could probably beat up most of the 205’ers

205 is absolutely awful now. Ronda could beat them... under the right circumstances.

Volkan and Jimi have a punchers chance, OSP pretty dangerous everywhere. Whitaker isn't a huge 185er so I can see a lot of the 205ers giving him some trouble in the clinch, against the fence, or if they get top position.. He is so fast though, and usually has a good game plan.

Out of the top 15 in this LHW division

Cormier, Gustafsson beat him. One has too good of a wrestling+size, other good striking+mixitup and massive reach advantage.

Volkan is dangerous , even though inferior in technique. I guess too dangerous for a smaller foe.

Latifi will be KTFO: Too slow, technique not good enough at all, no significant reach adv.

Ian will be overwhelmed. Same with Manuwa.

Corey can win this , if he doesn't get KTFO immediately - he starts to improve massively and is massive wrestler himself.

OSP is dangerous all the time so Whittaker has to be very composed. Yet 90% he beats him.

All the others get rekt

He would struggle against most in the top 15 due to size.

Size is one of the last features that matter in MMA. Most of these guys are not even close to Whittaker skill-wise, speed-wise.

I think he can beat most of the top 15 but I don't think he would necessarily do so handily due to sheer size differential - Whitaker isnt's even a big MW.

Like @wilKO says, the ones he positively wouldn't beat are DC, Jones and Gus.

Just to clarify Whittaker walks around at 220 pounds and competes in the 217 pound division for wrestling
