Who does Khabib fight if Conor/Tony/GSP aren't options?

Conor might have some serious legal issues.

Dana's being assertive about Tony/Khabib never happening again.

GSP isn't interested @ 155 lbs. yet and it'll probably take him a year to make the transition from MW to LW (he's extremely scientific about this process).

Considering that he wants to fight in November, what interesting title defenses are left for him?

I’d say Max or Brian Ortega if they’re willing, after a full camp

Tony/Khabib is the fight to make. Don't be silly.

I just saw a recent video of GSP and he looks lean. I would not be surprised if this fight happens sooner rather than later.

My realtor.

I think Max and Ortega are terrible matchups for Khabib. Max would not stand still for a second and use angles, and has great TDD.

Ortega would love for Khabib to shoot in sloppy and snatch a sub, I dont think he'd get a submission but he'd sweep etc to standup and murk on the feet.

Ortega if he moves up to a orob weightclass or alvarez if he earns it.

Porier X Gaethje winner
Eddie
Lee is he gets past Edson

If Conor still doesn't wanna fight and Tony is still hurt I'd be fine with any of the above.

If it's somehow not Conor or Tony, it may as well be Nate. How about Eddie?

If Lee beats Barboza, he may get a shot, assuming he uses his shit-talking skill.

My fantasy matchup is Khabib/Ortega, even if Ortega loses to Max.

Al fought with really great lateral movement and a nice low TDD base that helped him stuff Khabib's wrestling for 2 rounds.

The result was that it completely took away from his stand-up and allowed Khabib to tee off on him.

Khabib said he is taking time off and there's Ramadan. Probably won't be back till late September. Lots of time for things to shake out...... After thinking about it, an interim LW belt in August.:)

Except max knows how to fight moving backwards, switches stancs and creates angles, things AI just cant do. Max wouldnt for a second stand square infront of Khabib, not even for a second and has the gas to do it for 5 rounds.

Ortega I think would be a good fight for both of them. Ortega has shown skills in both stand up and on the mat. Ortega has a killer guillotine that Khabib would need to watch out for.

Is Tony even an option though?

Is he even going to be back in November or whenever Khabib first defense is going to be?

Max got lay n' prayed by Conor McGregor.

Let that sink in for a second.

White backed off his comments after a few days of being upset with Tony. I think that's the fight he'll make when Tony gets healthy, no matter what other crap he talks.

But like others have already said, if Tony's not ready to go, and Lee looks good in a few weeks, they might throw him in there again.

god i hate GSP. he is such fraud and it obvious what he is on. He also Mr. fight safe and take easiest fights or whatever.

Tony vs Khabib #5

it has to happen!

as a fan I have no interest in seeing Khabib/Tony being booked again. I can never trust that match ever going down. If none of those guys are options then I would book Khabib v Alvarez. the two have some history from their failed attempts to be booked at 205 & 206 and should be a relatively safe fight for khabib to defend his title once
