Who do you guys want to see to take the win at UFC175?

This is not a thread about who do think will win but who do want to win :]

If Machida wins this title, we would all witness history being rewritten. He would instantly became the GOAT.

If the Chris wins, he would finally get some respects. If he loses this fight then ... ohhh boy, he's in for some tought times in his career. I think this fight for Chris is of great importance. I mean, his second Silva fight was as well but it went bananas. Never in the history of this sport we saw someone take the title of a GOAT fighter with two "accidental" wins.

If machida takes this we see Machida era 2.0, if Chris, then its Wiendman era with some respect. Which era do you guys want to see more!?

Its a tough one for me but man ... how can u not cheer for Machida. Wrestlers come and go in the UFC, we don't get many karate guys though. Its gonna be war.

I'm ESL, in before jokes about my spelling.

Weidman. It would be cool if he dominated for a while........

Weidman. Then the Machida fanboys will cry, he'll pick up one more win, and somehow we'll be in the "Machida Era 3.0"

Who sherdoggers think or want to win turn out to be the same thing

better for mma in the usa if a tall white good looking all american dude wins and holds on to the title.

I like Machida's style more, he'd be an exciting champion.

But let the best man win

Another reason im looking forward to this fight is to hear Joe Rogan commentate. Can you imagine how epic (and funny) it would be if Machida wins and Rogan shouts out "Welcome to the Machida era 2.0" LOL

Thats true ;] I'm lucky that I'm outside of US so nationalities of these fighters don't intrest me one bit :] I just judge them on their fighting styles and skills. But, ofcourse, many Americans will cheer for Wiedman ... maybe that adds to the excitement of this fight even more.

I dont like wrestle boxers. I like unique fighters. Machida is that fighter.

Usually root for both but this time I'm going with Weidman, 115 all day.

I'll be rooting for Machida, he's had some bad luck and been on the receiving end of some dodgy calls plus he's getting up there in age. Weidman will be around a while so I'm rooting for The Dragon.

Machida has always been, for me, one of the top 20 fighters of all time. I never liked him cause of his rivalry with Shogun, but I can't deny that the dude is special.

Its not all about the size strength steroids etc etc, the guy is a fucking technical ninja on top of being a good athlete.

I don't know; it's a bittersweet fight for me. They're my two favourite active fighters (I consider Shogun retired at this point and have for a while, just not the same guy that made me start to love MMA) and have been for a long time, just knew this day would come. There's really nothing unlikable about either guy.

It would be awesome to see Machida become a two-division champion and he's a bad match-up for almost everyone in the division. Shogun, Fedor, him, and Sakuraba are my all-time faves. As a guy who started with karate his style has always been something I admired since I first heard of him, how he applies his karate style so excellently in MMA shows how much of an expert he is and that sets him apart from pretty much every other great karateka.

On the other hand Weidman's a stud, already easily my favourite MW ever, his improvements fight by fight has been awesome to watch (so has Machida's improvements at MW); I've rewatched his entire MMA career a few times now. He's such a good, down to earth, humble, and relatable guy. Longo and Serra always talk about it in interviews about him. I remember I was following him on Twitter back when he had like hundreds of followers and was doing auctions to get more followers, like one time was his shorts from the bloody Sakara fight, lol. I'd love to see him go down as the MW GOAT, build maybe an even greater legacy, and dominate the division ...
