I watched Uncut Gems last night.
There were a few scenes in that where the non stop barrage of voices and paranoia were reminiscent of Goodfellas final act.
Stylistically the cinematography and score reminded me a little of Scarface.
Sandler was very good and reminded me of a younger carlito's way era Pacino.

Film of the year for me was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, I think its QT's best looking film since Kill Bill.

Parasite deserves an award although not sure which. None of those movies deserve any kind of award. Joker is the most overrated movie I can remember
