I made a thread about this guy before but for example I like sweetpea's movement, he's super hard to hit but is an extreme example

but fighters that maybe arent as flashy about their movement but are just as or more effective please mention

people have different ideas about footwork. for some its being able to glide over the canvas like ali or leonard. for others its about being balanced and using leverage perfectly like comacho. the best are a master of both grace and balance

Yup, Hopkins has some of the best strategic (non-flashy) footwork amongst present day boxers.

There are many fighters who have great footwork, for offensive purposes I'd say Pacquiao he moves extremely well when throwing combinations moving in and out.

Ali.. we've seen lots of people try to imitate his footwork.. but it's the Ali shuffle for a reason.

Ali's footwork was brilliant.. he was always just out of reach of his opponents in his prime.. but close enough to strike

Ali had great footwork but some have said that he couldn't move to the right and would back straight back every now and then. Frazier caught Ali pulling straight back and Cooper caught side stepping to his right.

Rigondeuax's footwork is pretty damn impressive.

When he's bouncing it is.. but he does that James toney thing where he hard plants his lead foot starting with the heal and rolling forward. This looks cool, but it's a flaw. He is immobile when he is doing this..I suspect he is only doing it because nobody has been good enough to use it against him, but it'll happen as he moves up
