People are often quickly impressed by fancy footworks like Dominic Cruz has, or the elusive head movements like Anderson Silva showed at times, to avoid strikes from their opponents
.
Yet, there are often times when one finds their back against the cage or just unable to utilize head movement or footworks to incoming one or multiple strikes coming from their opponents.

Who are the best fighters who covers up best to defend against strikes in MMA?

Shogun and Rampage do a brilliant job of blocking punches with their arms and hands. They have great composure under fire.

Robbie's hand game is the best, IMO. Jones is good too.

Like wilKO said, Rampage is the right answer.

The Diaz brothers are sometimes good at that when cornered or bum-rushed with a long combination.

Artem Lobov. Nice and flowy

Machida was great at deflecting and countering.
However you do not seem him utilize it as often now.

Rumble's parrying has excelled with the Blackzillians.

Obvious Ronda pillow joke...

Robbie does this butterfly flailing technique then finishes it with a goofy grin or hook.

I thought TJ did a good job defending with his hands against Cruz. I know he lost, but just sayin
