Who are the champs that never committed fouls in order to win...

So no public statement before the fight, right? Just statements after the fight from BJ and a bunch of other people that GSP beat, correct?

Actually the discourse between BJ and the commission is a document on public record stating that there was a discussion before hand. Youd be surprised how many conversations don't begin with a press release. In fact almost no conversations begin with a public statment for the permenent record. It's also not to mention you CANT publicly accuse someone of a crime in advance and give a time and date where the infraction is going to happen because then they know they'll get caught, don't do it, and everyone calls you a liar and an idiot. You can only address a matter like that privately.

But you're right it's just BJs claim and the commissions acceptance as a matter of public record that he told them in advance. 6 opponents who have never accused anyone else of greasing saying the claims are legit, and GSP literally being caught red handed by official and on video. Other than that, there's no reason to suspect he did anything wrong at all.

That's a pretty long-winded way to say "no, there is no public statement about it prior to 'greasegate'." That's what I thought, thanks.

GSP didn't get "caught red handed" doing anything. If anything, his cornerman did.

But let me get this straight. Everybody knew about GSP's intentional greasing before this fight, so BJ warned the commission, in private because you "CANT" publicly accuse someone of a "crime" in advance (even though we're not talking about a crime, and you totally CAN do that). GSP himself, not his cornerman, was caught red handed, on camera, committing this "crime" during the fight. This is because the best plan that GSP and his team could come up with to enact this grand conspiracy was to rub grease directly onto him in between rounds, in full view of the cameras and the officials. It never occurred to them to sneak some grease onto a towel, or do any one of a thousand more subtle things. Despite all of this, the fight was not declared a NC, and in fact no points were even deducted. GSP himself was not penalized in any way. It was at this point that several of his previous opponents, whom he all defeated and included known steroid abusers, egomanics, and liars, finally felt it was safe to go public with something that they knew for years. Is that a correct summary of your position?
