Even if it's not for the title

If he loses I can already see people calling him a fake champ, only because he lost to a cheater who didn't make weight (people always forget weigh-ins day after the fight happens)

And if Whittaker refuses to fight I can also see people blaming him, the professional, instead of the cheater

Doesn't matter he can just solidfy his title the next time he fights. People who will call him a fake champ are low IQ casuals who don't understand the rules. They don't matter.

Aren't fighters who missed weight undefeated this year? Whittaker has the worst team on the planet if they let him fight.

Give the shot to Gastellum on the August card.

It's not .2 pound, it's how much weight did he cut to not even making weight

If Whittaker cut the same amount of weight as Romero he would weigh in at 175-180 lbs or something like that

Dying to see the fight but 100% agree. Robert has zero business taking this fight.

I don't care if it was by a gram the fucker missed weight AGAIN....after getting the TS anyway by missing the fight prior. I have zero empathy towards Yoel here and I'm a big admirer of his talent. Fuck him. No fight. I'll deal with the now deflated card.

You're the piece of garbage who thinks that you should be able to run a red light because it's just .2 seconds. You're the one who thinks that you should be able to go in the 10 items lane at the grocery store because you only have 2 extra items.

You think that you're the exception, that it's no big deal. Do you understand what would happen if everyone behaved that way? Your shitty logic for doing what you know you shouldn't do is contingent upon others doing what they should.

Until MMA gets a handle on weight cutting overall this is what we get. Keep in mind that most of the MW division are actually HW that cut weight. Think about that. Both Whittaker and Romero will walk into the cage over 205 pounds fighting for the 185 title (at least Whittaker is).
 
Man, i understand the rules AND now if they fight, its just another rematch.

But holy jesus...imagine if you flew from Australia to see this card for your champ and now he doesnt fight.

I think we just like a fair fight, and if a fighter can't make the weight especially if it's not the first time then he's too big for the weight class.
