Alright, so I figured I'd let you kids know, Inspirit International has the Spec 1 and Spec 2 models in white again. I already ordered mine earlier today and just figured people'd want to know. I'd suggest getting them early because anyone who missed the first batch remembers that they ran out of them fast and it took them a few months to get them back. Also, Inspirit International has a cool promotion going right now where shipping is free on all orders, you just pay the amount of the items no shipping cost. They're pricey but they look so badass. Anyways, I've done my community service, haha.

Cheers for the heads up, I'm gonna order a paif of Spec 1's I think

Madizm, I checked for the "Tag"/ Graffiti model when I saw the white ones were back...No go. The Compe model is still only available in black and the flare/Gomi model. They don't seem to be bringing the TAG Compe model back, which sucks. The white Spec 1s and 2s look awesome though. I bought both (Spec 1 and 2), cuz I don't know how to save my money, haha.

Man, I got a bunch of cash in my PayPal account and I really wanted the Tag Comp models. Question for those who have Inspirit shorts: what other differences are there between the Comps and the Spec models, besides the slits and the velcro system? Is one "better" than the other?

The Compe models are made out of the stretch microfiber like Sprawl, BrazilianFightWear etc. The Compe models are made out of some kind of microfiber that's not "Stretchy". The velcro system is the same on the Spec 2 and Compe, only the Spec 1 has a unique system. Professional fighters seem to use both, and even though they're paid to wear them, the shorts would have to be comfortable for them to do so. There is a review of them in the reviews section. The Compe is "Better" but I think it's just a different material and the Compe series has a bit of a slimmer cut in the legs.

These shorts are way too pricey for me 60 plus bucks no way

I thought they sold out of the Shooto shorts entirely? Or maybe I just stopped checking them because they only had like size small left or something. The Inspirit sizing makes me feel fat, haha. I'm a 34 waist in pants and shorts now (34.65 inches or 89 cm) and Inspirit has that as an XL. I just think it's kind of funny, I think they added the XXL almost solely for the western markets because I remember when they first started they only had XL as their largest size.

i wonder if they have any plans to release kawajiri's white compes...

the japanese sizing is worrying me alittle.. has anyone here had to deal with exchanges yet?

That's Inspirit International. KillerVerma posted the Inspirit Europe site. I believe the Europe site will ship anywhere as well. International ships anywhere, but doesn't have all the stuff that the Japanese site (or even the European site has) but I don't know what the shipping is with the European site or anything. They already released Kawajiri's white Specs. I kind of doubt they'll release white Compes just because Kawajiri has only used the Compes on rare occasion. He used a cool variation of the white Spec 2s recently, with the rising sun graphic on the left leg. Naoya Uematsu also used those shorts in his last fight.

I just ordered a pair of the white spec 1's in medium, does anyone know how the sizing compares with them to Tapout, Sprawl or Nogi? I wear a 30 in all 3 so I'm hoping the medium spec's will do.

first time i've checked out thier site, pretty cool gear...

I don't know how they compare to those shorts you mentioned. But they do have a sizing chart at the bottom of the page. It lists the ACTUAL waist measurements in inches and centimeters, as well as the hip measurements for the shorts. The sizing is the same for ALL of their shorts. My guess is a M in Sprawl is a bit bigger than a medium in Inspirit, because their sizing runs smallish it seems as an XL fits between a 34-35 waist (what I ordered)

WOW, so I placed my order this past Sunday the 21st. The shorts shipped from Japan to Massachusetts in 4 days as I received them maybe an hour ago. The material is pretty cool. It has a sort of grippy testure to it that I think will be useful for submissions. Also, both fit very well, with room in the hips. But that's just walking around in them for a bit, I'll roll in at least one of them tonight and maybe in a few weeks I'll write a review.

I really like the compe's and i feel ok about my new white spec 1 cuz they are F!@king huge. I mean the leg space they give you is ridiculous. Next time I'm just going to order competition models
