I think while Anderson is sponsored by Nike and Burger King, he is looking to make the most money he can and at the same time cement himself as one of the best fighters to walk this earth.

I have a slight feeling that if Lyoto fails to dethrone Jones once more, then him and Anderson may very well swap places seeing as though Lyoto came in at 201 against Bader.

It seems we will see some loses on Silva's Record he is getting older and there are some fighters improving. He should fight more often its always a pleasure to watch him fight even the borring fights against Maia is really interesting.

    Much respect to him.

As an AS fan i really hope he doesn't fight 10 more times. He is old for MMA standards and i don't think he would be motivated for that long (5 years if he keeps fighting 2x/year). I want to see him going out on top, as the champ. Bisping, Weidman, Jones and then retire and enjoy your life anderson!

wow 10 fight deal at 38 years of age.

I know his age hasn't slowed him down or anything but still..thats crazy

I know he wants to make money while the sport is hot in brazil and he's on a roll..

but he's 38...he will probably be fighting for another 4-5 years atleast...and he doesn't do TRT (to our knowledge)..that's amazing

    Anderson is a beast.
I hope he wins all 10 fights.

Well, I didn't expect that many fights. There better be some amazing fights happening in that case.

He fights for 10 more years he's going to end up like Fedor. Bad idea.

    he's the brazillian Randy Couture.

but seriously , I don't see why anyone is complaining about this. the greatest MMA fighter is apparently agreeing to a 10 fight contract. I am grateful for it. Hopefully it's true , and not just another rumor.

I thought he was only planning 3 more fights. I bet he can retire whenever he wants in the contract. Even Dana should see the reasons 10 more fights would be a bad idea.

White said in the interview he expects Silva to fight more than twice a year to realistically complete that contract. He also said Silva wanted 10 instead of 8.

Have you not seen how people shit on Fedor?
The same thing will happen to Anderson and that is why people are complaining.

They are already shitting on him already.

There are two reasons why people are shitting on Fador.

    1. Because there some people who are just a bunch of Haters who could not respect Passed Legends or only see his last recent fights. They haven't saw how Big Nog and Cro Cop fought back in the day.

    2. The Delusional Fedor Fan Boys who disrespects almost any other fighter out there Every time there is a new Heavyweight Champ in the UFC. If a fighter was compared to Fedor this Fan boys will go Balistic saying things like Prime Fedor will beat Cain,JDS etc and will actively call out other people and hurl insults.

Just like now look how many Fedor related threads have come up.

I am a big Fedor Fan I think he has a good chance against JDS or Cain heck he may even Submit Cain.

But I don't hurl insults to people who think some one could beat Fedor.

Same thing applies to Wanderlei and Anderson.

This is a bad idea if he wants to retire undefeated in the UFC. He has almost 40...
Statistically speaking, he's going to lose at any time against someone significantly younger.
