It's a tossup between Volk and Ortega, and Merab vs Marlon for me, can't go wrong with either one in my opinion. Both had the right amount of turbulence and "Holy Shit!" moments. Good card overall though. Everyone won tonight, the Matchmakers put together a card that delivered, and the fans for sure got there moneys worth when it mattered.

Main for the skill and toughness.

Nick vs Robbie for the just bleed nostalgia.

Main, which is crazy because any other night it would've been Merab/Moraes

Volk/Ortega. If only for those round three sub attempts from Ortega. Shit was fucking bonkers if you had any stake in the fight. I can see a case for the other one though. Both great.

Volk vs. Ortega was probably fight of the year imo. Merab vs. Moraes was great though.

Didn't watch the prelims but if there's even a question of whether Merab-Marlon is on par with Volk-Ortega then I'll have to watch it.

Main edges it as it was more competitive.

Moraes/Merab was crazy for sure but a simpler tale of Moraes dominating then Merab dominating.

Volkanovski/Ortega had momentum shifts from knockdown to sub to near gnp T/KO to sub to near gnp T/KO in just rd 3. Ortega also kept fighting to the end and even tagged Volkanovski pretty good rd 5.

    Great night of fights.

The main because it was a better more competitive fight throughout

Merab-Marlon R1 is a round of the year candidate but R2 was one-way traffic. Stopped probably 2 minutes too late. If it had somehow gone another 35 seconds it was in legit 10-7 territory.

Ortega-Volk R3 is another contender for round of the year.

The main not only was FOTN but also is a FOTY contender.

EDIT: It doesn't mean that this fight was that good like a "FOTY back and forth", but it was intense since the first round and had some crazy moments. Anyways, this year we didn't had that much crazy fights like this one, I can only remember about Oliveira vs. Chandler.

Only the last minutes of the 1st round were good, the rest was Merab beating Moraes with GnP.
