Which two fighters have faced each other the most often or for the most time?

Thinking about Marquez/Pacquaio having fought each other 4 times, I'm wondering which MMA rivalries have resulted in the most fights between the same two guys, or the most actual time spent in the octagon fighting each other (in case of several decisions).

Couture/Liddell was a trilogy from what I recall, but Couture also didn't last very long in the last fights.

Also, Sakuraba has fought and hunted down so many Gracie's, he's now run out of Gracie's, and is now chasing their shadows.

Sam Langford fought three different opponents and combined had more fights against those three than most fighters nowadays have in their entire careers. Something like 20 vs Harry Wills, and 15 times each vs Joe Jeannette and Sam McVey. Something like that.

Ted Kid Lewis and Jack Britton also fought each other somewhere around 20 times as well.

 

In terms of # of fights: I think Travis Fulton had like 8 fights with some guy.

Arlovski and Silvia fought 4 times.

In terms of # of minutes: Edgar vs Maynard obviously, just short of 1 hour in the Octagon.

Forrest vs Tito, 3 fights with 3, 5 minute rounds in each fight. That's 45 mins

But even more, Thomson vs Melendez has been 3 fights with 5, 5 minute rounds in each fight. That's 75 minutes or an hour and 15 minutes lol
