Which style of fighter you prefer?

A cross between dominic cruz and anthony pettis with heavy hands.

Well said. I love creative strikers that brings it and has the abiblity to finish fights.
Examples: Condit, Machida, Almeida and Mein who unfortunately just retired. I also enjoy competitive and creative JJ battles, Nogueira used to be exiting as fuck back in the PRIDE days.

I'm a fan of all styles as long as the fighter is constantly looking to finish.

I like guys that are really slick and technical, or guys that are brutal. So I like Demian Maia's, and I like Shane Carwin's

I prefer the guys who display the highest level of technique.

A few examples:

Machida is not Nova Uniao style.
Neither is Mighty Mouse, TJ Dillashaw, Dominic Cruz. Neither is Jacare.

But then I also love guys like Frankie Edgar who are more wrestle box USA, but he's just so good at it. His BJJ display against Cub was one of my favorites ever. That guard passing was beautiful.

Then you have guys like Gunnar Nelson who has world class grappling but an awkward karate style.

To me, it's just about how well you are able to employ your style and how good your technique is in doing so. Like, I admire the hell out of Weidman, but his technique for the most part is super slops.

Joanna. Punishing Esparza for every failed TD attempt, with nasty elbows. That was a thing of beauty. Especially, if you're sick of wrestlers just having their way.

It's not really an exact answer to the question. Only had two options. But, I know what I like when I see it.

Anderson - Blend of multiple striking arts, great head movement, footwork, and overall defense. Great in the clinch. Dangerous off the back as well.

I also like a wrestler that can strike well/finishes fights and looks for the finish on the mat.

I like the dig fight kinda strikers...like diegi sanchez...u try getting technical and all but if it does not work out...jus go beserk...and technucians.like mighty mouse
..fun to watch

Look at American -as in USA - wrestlers. They grind you to pieces, but got the ego to exchange standing and take you out.
Love it.

I tend to favor the guys that go out to fight rather than go out to win...and I don't mean the sloppy 2 minute gas tank brawlers either. People like that Jouban kid...he's one of the ones at the top of my list...or Lauzon...that plucky little bastard is friggin awesome!

Aggressive ground and pound fighters with huge slams

I miss you jones...

I like when they wear suits, and look all professional and tidy.

Out of those two?? The NU style.

But overall I dont really have a preference of style these days

Korean style: Hands down, chin up, spam overhands and knees.

Of those two styles, I prefer neither. My most preferable is any striker that is at least capable of doing damage and is a not a point fighter, whether they are unskilled brawler, "technical" and "creative" striker.

is Lyoto a point fighter in your opinion?

Nova Uniao fighters don't really have creative striking, they're pretty straight forward MT fighters, just very, very good at it.

I would definitely prefer Nova Uniao fighters over any American wrestlers, though. Nova Uniao MT/BJJ fighters are far more exciting to watch than any American wrestler who prefers to take guys down and control them or put them against the fence and control them.

Other than that, the most enjoyable for me is to watch guys who mostly use their hands and like to use volume and body shots. Also when they have great movement, so TJ has always been a pleasure for me to watch for quite a few years now. I'll take that kind of fighter over a straight MT guy any day. TJ may be a 'bang MT' fighter, but his hands are the biggest weapon besides his left switch kick to the head. I could really go on all day about what kind of fighters I like, but meh, too long and nobody likes a long ass post, this is already long enough for you lazy mofos!

Also, based on other sports I've played, I would define Chris Kelades and Matt Brown as fighters whose approach is closest to mine. They fight for every second and have iron will.

Sprawl & brawler or pure BJJ specialist that goes for subs. Too bad they don't exist anymore. It was awesome to see foolish wrestlers trying to take Crocop or Lidell down, only to fail and be forced to striker lol.

Nowadays styles? Whatever Edson Barboza's style is called.
