Here's a cool list of school lunches from around the world- http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/what-school-lunches-look-like-in-20-countries-arou After looking at the list, one is really struck by how amazingly shitty American school lunches are; not only is the quality crap, but there actually appears to be less on the plate than many of the other countries. Comparison: Korea- France- USA- Holy fuck! Is that thing on the bottom right supposed to be pizza? Actually, the only kids that look like they have it off worse in terms of lunch than the Americans are the Hondurans, who unfortunately appear to still be on some Oliver Twist shit. Yes, that means I would take the Djibouti rice and beans with curry over that rancid pizza. The Kenyans? Well, I guess it depends how much avocado you're getting but I bet a whole avocado (and maybe a bit of bread) has more nutritional value than the American lunch. That said I'm sure those little Kenyan buggers would love to get their hands on some Fritos or chocolate milk. So which lunch from the list would you pick? Say you were picking for your kid, which lunch seems most nutritionally balanced?
