Hey guys, I am going abroad to see my gf. I will stay with her, she wanted me to download romantic movies to watch together and she insisted

normally we watch action movies etc, do you have any recommendations? I thought a comedy like one could be watchable, have you watched any of that genre recently and enjoyed it?

I don't wanna be stuck watching the same plot for the 312313th time

thanks in advance

Two girls and a cup, surprise ending edition.

Beta exposed imho. Pitch perfect might be tolerable. I can't stand chick flicks. The last one I saw was brides maids and I was tricked into seeing that garbage. I was told it was like the hangover. Fuck was I pissed it was a stupid chick flick.

Judd Apatow flicks are watchable for most dudes.

Also, Annie Hall

Knocked Up
This is 40
Crazy Stupid Love
Forgetting Sarah Marshall

etc

There aren't many legit romantic comedies that are enjoyable. There's tolerable and then there's just downright awful. Those 4 are a little more guy oriented. Girl ones that didn't make me want to shoot myself were

Hitch
10 Things I Hate About You
Friends with Benefits
Juno
Little Black Book

His Girl Friday
Annie Hall
Breakfast at Tiffany's
The Princess Bride
Groundhog Day
Mean Girls
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
As Good as it Gets
New Waterford Girl
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Amelie

Any Woody Allen ones. They are actually great.

Nobody gets tricked. You could of got up and left

Just proves how beta you really are.

1st you can't admit that you liked the movie (its okay to like chick flicks). Only a beta would deny he liked it because of fear of how it might make him look.

2nd you claim you are incapable of getting up to leave the movie. If you really didn't like it you get up and leave but by staying through something you dislike it proves how beta you really are.

LOL

His Girl Friday
Annie Hall
Breakfast at Tiffany's
The Princess Bride
Groundhog Day
Mean Girls
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
As Good as it Gets
New Waterford Girl
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Amelie

Good list

I'm gonna go with

Stranger than Fiction
Clueless
Sweet Home Alabama
Wedding Singer

His Girl Friday
Annie Hall
Breakfast at Tiffany's
The Princess Bride
Groundhog Day
Mean Girls
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
As Good as it Gets
New Waterford Girl
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Amelie

I watched Scott Pilgrim vs the World and it was great, so I'll go from your recommendations hoping the rest are somewhere near Scott Pilgrim movie.

might add a couple from the rest of you guys as well, thanks a lot!

Wedding Crashers is the GOAT Rom Com.
The first half of Friends With Benefits was good, so if you can get making out before that point, it's a good choice too.
Moulin Rouge

Any Woody Allen ones. They are actually great.

I really liked Hannah and her Sisters and Midnight in Paris so I recommend those TS

Punch Drunk Love directed by Paul Thomas Anderson is also great. Its very different from pretty much every romantic comedy I've seen except for the fact that it has Adam Sandler in it but don't let that turn you off, the part is written perfectly for him so even he couldn't fuck it up. Just watch this trailer and tell me you don't want to see this film. Its not even very long, 90 minutes give or take a minute or two.

Notting hill
4 wedding and a funeral
Love Actually (goat)
About a boy...has romance in it.

Fools Rush In. Romantic comedy with Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry. Romantic enough for her and funny enough for you. Also did I mention Salma Hayek is in it ?

Eternal Sunshine isn't really Romantic Comedy but by the time she realises she will be into it and you will get away with it. One of my favourite films.
