Would be cool to get a poll mods but here you have Pride who openly let people juice and they dont' test for it. But in the UFC they let big names do it and throw the book at anyone else doing way smaller things like weed. Very interesting what we are seeing now and I don't think I have heard of any org moving states like this....

Mafia or Yakuza.

Take your pick

Starting to miss the Yakuza involvement in Pride.

I don't recall if PRIDE operated under the pretense of their fighters being clean. So I'd say the UFC is far more dishonest.
It's one thing to not know, it's another thing entirely to know and still commit the crime. This shows intent.

How is PRIDE corrupt if they allowed it?

It might seem like fluff question but I think it’s a legit question. Probably one almost all of us has thought about. I’ve been questioning myself about my allegiance to the UFC for a few years. It’s been such an obvious and predictable outcome from day one. Most people dismissed it all. But the writing was on the wall since before Aldo vs McGregor.

Money fights, ducks, shit talking fools etc.

When is it too much? What is your dealbreaker, or do you even have one?

Once GSP is officially retired I will probably walk. Unless true advances are made to return legitimacy to the UFC. I feel pretty crappy right now. In real life I purposely do not mention I’m a fan of mma. But not because alot of people still think it’s a regression in man’s evolution and merely human cock fighting. I don’t mention it because I’m embarrassed by the shit show the UFC has become. The storylines the last few years are just unbelievable.

It’s my first thread. Take it easy on me alright.

Do you have a UFC deal breaker?

UFC is bent as hell fuck them really - and people shit on Scott Coker for being a good guy!

Its a good question mate. I cant give you an answer now but I will think about it.

This is UFC's "jump the shark" moment. I was going to meet up with a friend and order the PPV, but not now. Can't support this level of classlessness, corruption, and disrespect to the other fighters.

After thinking about it, as long as the best fighters are in the UFC then i will watch because I love it too much. Would love for Bellator to get them and Rogan so it can be like the old days and have Scott in charge. The only thing is if the judges get to boxing level like when one fighter is so fucking dominate but they give it to the other guy like fury wilder.

I mean technically the UFC never did testing and it isn't illegal to use roids in Japan. It would make no sense for Pride to do it. The UFC had athletes tested because it was a mandatory requirement by the governing state bodies.

The issue with USADA and the UFC is a conflict of interest. The UFC is paying them so they can modify the policy for testing. Then we got corruption at the state level where they just want money.

this!

UFC is only corrupt for the highest level of fighters whereas pride didn't give a shit.

Pride made no illusions to being legit. They little to no rules or testing, so its hard to compare them to the current UFC that professes to be mainstream and legit, while secretly caring absolutely nothing about cheating or fairness.

PRIDE IIRC just said they won't test which isn't corruption as such

But if you wanna talk about fight fixing corruption...
