Matt Serra is a journeyman to a point he wasn't even a gatekeeper in his prime.

Nate isn't half as good as he thinks he is, but he's much much much better than Serra

Yes they were. Getting taken down was the biggest threat to Serra and he knew it. Yet he still had the balls to stand and throw. GSPs TDs were feared by every fighter to step in the cage at that time.

GSP Was a striker before Serra KO'd him, newjack. He did not come into MMA with a wrestling background. He adopted a takedown heavy game AFTER the Serra KO.
