Anderson Silva has only "won" one fight in the last 8 years, which was a controversial decision victory. Officially he is 1-7-1 in his last 9 fights, with 4 of the 7 losses by TKO or KO.

Fedor Emelianenko went 8-5 in his last 13 fights (to date) after being undefeated for 10 years. However one of those decision wins is highly contested, and Fedor was finished in all of his losses after never being truly finished before.

BJ Penn lost 7 straight, and only won 1 of his last 11 fights. Penn hasn't won a fight in almost 10 years (Nov 20, 2010). Penn has been finished 3 times in this span.

Am I forgetting anyone? I feel like Fedor doesn't seem so bad compared to BJ and Silva.

Kinda tired of the word GOAT. Its lost all meaning if every damn fighter is a GOAT.

GSP beating up a man with one eye was pretty classless.

Well the ending to Penns career, has been so bad that most people dont even bring him up amongst the greats anymore. That is quite Some way to fall, when he used to be in everyones GOAT list back in the day.

Cormier had a pretty soft ending i thought. No crowd and being held against a cage for periods in sheer silence

Penn isn't a goat. Legend sure, but he's not even the best in his division's history

Silva is out due to PED offenses. Penn is not in many GOAT discussions, although he was the man at 155 for awhile. Miguel Torres was in GOAT discussions and went on a skid.

I'm going to go with Renan Barao; was in GOAT discussions and has currently lost 8 of his last 10.

I recall GSP winning that fight, and Hendricks going onto have one of the worst declines of a fighter yet....

For me personally, it's Fedor. Watching him in his prime, whether you were a fan of his or not, was truly something special. When he lost that spark, that terrifyingly cold aura of limitless motivation he used to exude, I think we began to see it as early as the Hunt fight, it was so utterly disappointing for those of us who witnessed his peak.

The "most infuriating waste of talent" award easily goes to BJ for me, and it's not even close. I'll always be disappointed that we never truly got to see Penn as good as he could've been.

Don't be a dumbass. A controversial win against the #2 WW in the world is not close to as bad as how Fedor, Penn or Silva has ended their careers

Also you are a fucking moron if you think GSP post ACL tear was in his prime

If GSP doesn't come back against Bisping, his retirement following the Hendricks fight looks pretty bad.

    But, obviously, it's BJ.

Fedor getting Ko'd by a jab from Bader was pretty bad. Then to follow it up with a KO of the worst version of Rampage that we have ever seen just didn't seem to make things better.
