Which fights do you think are a lock at 166?

Cormier over Nelson, Cormier is quicker and can ground Roy if things get hairy on the feet.

Noons over GSot i think because GSot has terrible striking.

On a side note does anyone know much about Darrell Montague?
Dodson is on my opinion the 2nd quickest in the division next to Mighty Mouse which will prob cause a bit of trouble.

Roy Nelson/Daniel Cormier is going to be the fight of the night in my opinion, besides the main event of course.

Its going to be great. Hopefully we some some killer slams by Cormier since Roy most likely cant threaten him off his back.

    Andre Fili & Gilbert Melendez.

Montague is a good, well rounded fighter, Dodson is no joke though!

    For me...

    Cormier over Nelson.
    Dodson over Montague.
    Melendez over Sanchez.
    Ferguson over Rio.

Are the ones I'd consider locks.

GSot is going to relly too much on his jab and get horribly countered.

I really like Melendez over Sanchez, but i do feel George has nothing left to give also.

    None of them really..

GSot and Noons, neither have looked good recently.

Roy can end things with one punch and should never be underestimated, although I understand that Corimer is the favorite for a reason.

Cain and JDS- both are 1-1 and theres too much speculation and excuses from previous fights to make an educated call.

Sot's recent losses aren't really that bad. He almost finished Pearson at the end of the first despite getting caught early and somehow surviving nearly ten minutes on instinct. The other two losses were to top 10 lightweights, a quick KO and a decision. Before that he was on a 7 fight win streak with some very impressive showings.

That fight is hardly a given. Sot can box and if he can avoid getting rocked early Noons slows dramatically after the first if his recent showings are anything to go by. Noons won't want to take the fight to the ground either. That being said George can get knocked out but Noons hasn't shown much recently to indicate he has much in his gloves. I'd say a real even fight to be honest.

I am not too familiar with Andre Fili. Do you mind schooling me on him a little?

yes these look accurate- BUT I PRAY to see the Gangster versions of Sanchez and Nelson. Big Crunchy needs to derail the cormier hype train

Hey, everyone has a chance, especially a guy who can't be finished recently with massive one-shot KO power. JUst not much of a chance!

I'm tempted to put Sotiropoulos losing to Noons on that list, but it wouldn't surprise me if George was able to grapple his way to a UD. That said, George's non-existent wrestling is what makes it seem a lock to me.
