A cool fact about him, he actually used to lie about his age so he could fight underage back in Asia, he turned pro at 15 years old.

He's fighting Cody Stamann in December. He's Chinese too so considering Weili just won the title, I expect Song will get a huge push should he perform well.

I'm all in. If he runs thru Stamman he will probably get a top 5 guy. Problem is Cejudo is hurt & Sterling/Yan/Sandhagen are all 1 win away from a title shot. As could be Edgar & Cruz. Plus Faber is trying to sneak into the convo. Moraes & Garbrandt are still around too.

They're super fast but most of them still have finishing power and they're some of the most technically sound fighters too.

To each their own. To me, fighting is a bout giant dudes smashing organs out of each other. But super awesome skills are also appreciated and in 2nd place. LW has without a doubt the biggest talent pool and largest diversity of styles and skill sets, so I can't pass up on it. The division's great down to TOP 40. Meanwhile LHW and HW are, unfortunately, deserted wastelands after USADA came in. So I've been getting my fix mainly at MW and LW now. WW has always been kind of bland and FW's cruising into manletism, but I'll still watch them cause it's at least something. FLW, BW and WMMA is bottom tier. I'm sorry. It's cool if people dig it, just isn't for me.

And, for as much shit as MMA fans get - they're actually very tolerant. Cause my opinion about the lower weight classes and WMMA is shared by 99% of the viewers. Yet people still try to play a long and be nice. They're martyrs.

I imagine he'll get more buzz if he wins this one. It takes a little longer for BWs to gain traction. That being said, I think the division is in great shape. There's a good mix of proven veterans and rising prospects. We just need Kyoji to come back.
