I remember Cain and JDS kicking and retiring guys in their 20s. Now it's the old folks running it. The division needs some serious fresh and powerful talent.

Who you got as the next HW great prospect? can't think of anyone right off the bat

Kerr is retired bro. The “ New Breed “ of HW was heavily influenced by Peds, that’s why they became increasingly rare in the USADA era.

I don't know, but UFC need to seriously visit the old peoples nursing home and they will find many new HW's there of the same age as the current UFC HW division and they certainly wouldn't be any less athletic or any less slower then the current roster are. UFC should sign some of them in those homes up, they'll fit right in with the old age pensioners in the division.

You brought Pride to the discussion.

Where are the HWs on their early 20s? You cant keep bringing rookies on their mid 30s and pretend they'll move forward the division.

The "new breed" is where they've always been going, other sports worth a fuck. Anyone thats a legit athlete in the HW range would be an idiot to pursue MMA over the NBA, NFL, etc. You rake in a few hundred thousand just riding the bench and not having to worry about starting from the bottom fighting at regional shows for a 12 pack and $75, only to bust your ass for years broke af to make it to the big leagues and still make peanuts compared to your peers in other sports.

Thats why HW has always been dudes that should've retired 5-10 years ago, a few slobs and journeymen that beat a few of the said retirees, and the few and far between younger, actually athletic and talented fighters.

All the elite athletic talent in their early 20s that are HW weight and build are off chasing much bigger and better things as they should. HW sucks though and it would be nice to get a few of them over.

CrossFit has ruined the division...the guys who could be fighting at HW are preferring to fight at LHW.
