theres generally a consensus among mma fans that conor is at least somewhere in the top 5 greatest fighters of all time. imo he could retire now and easily stay at #1, unless jon jones captures the heavyweight belt and defends at least 12-15 times, but even then i think it would be a close tie.

if i had to make a list it would be something like

1. conor
2. fedor
3. jon jones
4. anderson silva
5. gsp

To green, still has a lot to prove, shit...the guy hasn't even defended his belt once ...I dont even think he'll be able to make 145 again.

He may hold up to be an all time great with a big mouth ...but that will come with time.....

As of right now, he's just anther Steve Cantwell ....a fighter with a ton of potential that may or may not reach his full worth.

Where would I put him in the top 5 of all time?

Far outside of it.

1. Brock Lesnar
2. Cody McKenzie
3. TJ Grant
4. CM Punk
5. Conor McGregor

Having your dick sucked by the likes of flapdragon doesn't make you a great fighter

This thread is either made from the freshest and finest troll meat this side of the bridge, or a terribly constructed fantasy made by sheer delusion.

He couldn't even defend his Conor belt. And Nate threw that shit in the trash. He doesn't give a fuck about belts.

conor is a great talent and did a lot of things in a short period of time. It is wayyy to early to make any claim like top 5.

He's in my top five of worst submission defense. Somewhere between James Toney and Pat Barry. Toney at least hung in there for a while against Couture with no grappling experience, so Conor may have him edged.

Top 5 ratings draw
Top 5 hype machine
(possibly) Top 5 earner

Not even a top 5 FW of all time

I'll bite just to make Connor's fans feel even worse. A prime connor got outboxed and outgrappled by someone with no training camp who wasn't ranked in any division (due to inactivity). Conor was handed a title shot at 145 where it was just a 1 punch ko which doesn't mean much. There's no doubt he a good fighter but he has yet to prove he's an A level fighter.

I remember my first beer to.

As far as "flash in a pan" he's def in the top 5. As far as fighters... lol.

Would put him far from it.
