Who remembers this one? Still one of my all time favorites. Doesn’t seem like it’s really stood the test of time to me though. No one ever talks about it.

Great fight.

Great card too. Alot of insane finishes on that card.

Awesome fight. Hominick is the definition of a warrior. Beat up Aldo on the ground in the fifth with a massive hematoma and his wife in labor.

Hominick vs Yves Jabouin was awesome

Terrific fight. I was worried for Aldo in the later rounds, as he clearly faded hard.

Man, I was fuuuuucked up watching that card lol.

It was a good fight, but Aldo vs Edgar (1 &2), Mendes 2 were better.

Beat up?
Hominick landed about 7 or 8 good shots while being stuck in Aldo's guard for 3 and half minutes.

I’m a huge Frankie fan, but i gotta say i didnt really enjoy either of his fights with Aldo. First had its moments, second seemed more like they were point fighting or trying to win a decision.

Mendes 2 was amazing though

I remember that fight and that fight card in general. Osama Bin Laden was killed the day after, Machida did the Karate Kid, The Janitor slept a dude, crazy prelims, Henderson grinded, and of course the aweful GSP fight.

But all in all, Aldo had the Mendes II fight, which is one of the greatest fights ever.

Was there, and when Mark knocked him down it was the loudest I've ever heard a crowd at a live sporting event.

Downside was we did not know GSP got a bad eyepoke, and we're all like wtf bro .... ?

Where's this list of 25 fights?

1st event in toronto was a great fight was surprised aldo opted to grapple so much though

It's hard for me to call such a one-sided affair one of the greatest fights ever.

IMO Aldo/Faber was more entertaining especially with Faber contending with his broken hands and still trying to find ways to be offensive.

I don't remember it being that great of a fight.

I remember being excited about Aldo's debut and told a lot of my friends about him. A few of my friends fell asleep watching this

Didn't Hominick get close to finishing him in the 5th?

Or is that my brain playing tricks on me and remembering things that never happened
