Selling homes. A bud of mine who is a lender ( hard money) met him. Cool dude... might have made good money. Real estate in LI is insane right now, problem is that there is little to no inventory. I got a house in Nassau county and planning to sell for twice what I paid for in 2015. Pennsylvania and Connecticut are nuts too. A bud bought a 2 fam house for 60k in 2019. Sold it in summer 20 for 300k. Insane.

If he is a game realtor, he must be thriving. Love when a fighter finds a new purpose after fighting.

Was thinking the same.
Chances are they threw double or triple the original value of the house at it to get it back on the market in better shape. Otherwise it’s almost implausible.

From what we spoke and the pics he sent me, it was mostly drywall/skimcoat/painting, polishing floors and replacing toilets/sinks. He lived in that house and did it himself with a couple guys he hired by day. Could have been quite a lot of money had he hired a contractor to do the job for him but it wasn’t the case. And even if he did that he would have still made a lot of money. You won’t find a great deal in that area anymore.
