Muay Thai seems to trouble karate fighters.
Where's Condit at?

Waiting for someone worthy to defend his belt against.

I'd rather see matt brown take wonderboy to school again.

War immortal

I think Condit can, has faith in his chin and can measure distance and the most important thing is unlike Rory his output is crazy, probably the one of best in the division, I have this horrible feeling Wonderboys chin is susceptible.

The Wonderboy that we are causally seeing now, is what used to be the Machida days of old. No one can match their distance or solve their striking game. Both Rory and Hendricks are #2 and 3 dudes, and Thompson has no problem taking them out of their game plan.

Doubt it. And on that note...GSP did Rory a huge disfavor but not teaching him how to simply rush in and hold his opponent down properly. A proven method to victory.

I see condit picking up a five rounder we haven't seen wonderboy go a full five rounds so his cardio is still a question to me

Someone with good leg kicks could fuck that front leg up. Look at what happend to Machida during the Shogun fights. Elite MT wil almost always beat Elite Karate.

That's a helluva match up but wont happen anytime soon.... Thompson's earned his shot. Hope to see NBK soon though

Did you even watch the fights last night?

His leg kicks are too weak for me to consider him a muay thai fighter.

This fight must happen...

The fight-gods demand it!

Then again, Wonderboy probably believe in Jesus or something.

He probably can't even hear the fight-gods...

The thing that intrigues me is that when Machida looked most unbeatable, the riddle was solved by a shopworn Shogun using mostly bread and butter MT.

not true look up peter cunningham. either way condit isnt an elite muay thai figher, he never teeps which is like a boxer never jabbing. Htompsons lead leg kicks really change the game and nullify alot of those leg kicks.

Longer fighters would give wonderboy problems because he's used to fighting short guys.
I would root for wonderboy but I think condit beats him.

The ww division is full on great matchups

Unless Thompson could consistantly time a lead side-kick to put them on their ass every time they thought about throwing one.

True, but prior to Machida had an absolute incredible running streak. I'm talking bout 16 straight, never even lost a single and never even physically harmed. Only other person who surpass this feat was Jones, minus the DQ of course

He uses a push kick to the knee as his range-finder. like all winklejohn fighters...he's definitely not a typical MT guy though.
