He is extremely accurate and his timing is almost perfect. Too bad his hand speed isn't as fast anymore causing him to take more damage when going inside

p4p pretty unremarkable at this point. At HW his is good.

idk those 1 punch combos annoys me,top 100 maybe

He clearly lost a few steps from his prime days.

Going in I thought it was "big power vs. big power with K-1 level striking" but that wasn't close to the case.

It was kinda shocking to see Lewis get the better of Hunto the 1st round.

Had me doubting if Hunto was going to win if it ended in a couple rounds, but in the long haul, he could out last Lewis.

Well you have to first acknowledge that Mark Hunt is 43 years old and quite far from his prime. In terms of his "striking prime" you'd have to say it was in his late 20s when he won the K1 GP.

But in terms of HW striking you'd have to give him one of the best ever. p4p is much different though, because obviously a 155lb Dutch kickboxer is going to be much more technical than a 285lb Samoan.

You gotta remember guys this is MMA and hes forced into a very limited game (like cro cop) because ehe wants to keep the fight standing, and to avoid the takedown, he has to do things like fire 1 shot at a time, and wait to counter, be cautious and hesitant, and not use the full arsenal he has.

Couple that with a big powerful, fast, long , hard headed guy that he fought against (someone that wouldn't last 30 seconds in kickboxing with a prime hunt but non the less a potent awkward human being) and you have what looks like mediocre striking.

Truth is hes an excellent striker, he just SEEMS worse than he is because its MMA , and he wants to stay standing.

Id have him 4th in his own division behind reem, stipe and junior so not close to the p4p list
