To me, it would be bigger than Jones v Anderson, or Anderson v GSP. I think it would be about as big as Fedor v Brock would have been.

I mean, who else in here besides me would explode with anticipation if it actually happened?

Forgive me if this thread has been made, but I wanted to see if this was the new dream fight to salivate about, now that any fight featuring either Anderson, Jones, or GSP fighting each other is pretty much never going to happen. And even if they would have happened, they'd be no match for a Jones-Velasquez blockbuster.

Of course today Cain vs Jones is more relevant than Anderson vs. anybody.

0 interest. Jones just gonna oblique kick Cains knees until they blow up.

Sure, but even four years ago, Anderson v (Any Fighter) would not be nearly as good as Cain v Jones right now.

Not very high. To me the GOAT dream fight would silva and GSP. dont care who wins, it would just cement one of them down as an undeniable legend. Nothing else comes close to how bad i want that fight to happen.

#2 behind Jones-Weidman for me. I'd like Cain on the resume but more for the 265 belt and not necessarily Cain. Cain fights like once every 1.5 to 2 years for gods sake. Heck it could be Werdum and it wouldn't matter, its the belt. I see what Weidman trying to do though. He has his eye on overall GOAT and that's what Jones wants.

Full interest, 10/10. I would love to see it, because it is a freakshow and either guy could win. What if Werdum beats Cain would you insist that Jones fights Werdum or JDS instead? I would love HW Jones, but he has 2-3 more people to...

    Wipe.

Probably the most pumped I would ever be for a fight.

Jones vs Weidman after they defend/clear out their respective divisions. Then if Jones and Cain remain champs at that point, then Jones vs Cain. Pettis vs Aldo. those are the cream bouts (yes, cream bouts) [IMG]

Do you mean just realistic/possible dream fights (as in, both guys in the same org. and at worst two weight classes apart [one goes up one, other goes down one to meet in middle]) ?

Or including semi-realistic / somewhat plausible (Brock/Fedor/GSP come out of retirement) ? Or just anything goes ?

My top realistic match at this point probably is Bones / Cain. Semi-realistic is GSP / Anderson, even though I realize both are past their primes and it won't have near the aura it would have even just a couple years ago, much less say 4-6 years ago.

It is a tie at the top with Aldo/Pettis.....actually I want to see Pettis/Aldo more because of how intriguing it will be, and I want to see Cain/Jones more because the mauling Cain will unleash on Jones will be EPIC

Let's wait and see what happens with Troll Horse first... or if Cain ever fights again.

silva and gsp are already undeniable legends. and I too once wanted this fight. not so much anymore. as far as jj vs cain...its 2nd on my list, but only cause cain will crush him like a can, and id pay to see that. cain is twice the man DC is, and better at everything including cardio. he will run thru jones. my top fight is pettis/aldo at the moment.

I don't really care too much to be honest. There just doesn't seem to be any hype behind it + Cain is so damn boring.

GSP v Silva was the dream. I would be more excited for Weidman v Bones or Conor v Pettis.

I won't watch any Jones' fight until he gets tested for day one training camp and throughout and until fight night and after that too.

    #1 at this point.

Jones made a huge statement with that win.
