Where does all the money go? Israel is asking!

Taxes, marketing/promoting, flights/hotels, insurance, ect ect ect.

Also the UFC employ 100’s of ppl.

Ppl get shocked when they see Floyd get $40 million for some of his older fights. These same ppl don’t factor that he co-promotes his events, which means he invests a shit load of money prior to the fight.

PPV provider gets 50% of sales. Local and International tax. Millions on marketing for a main event that never happened. UFC employee and subcontract pay: marketing, design teams, distributors, match makers, officials, doctors...then you have the usual event fees: fighter medicals, fighter & team flights, hotels and extras, legal fees, venue hire, commentary staff, insurance...

I'm not sure why Sherdoggers don't consider even a few of these expenses when making these threads. All they see is PPV + gate - fighter pay, like everyone and everything else involved is free.

I guarantee they lost money on this card, broke even at best. It was a complete disaster.
You'd think a billion dollar company that just signed a 750 million dollar contract with ESPN could afford all that bullshit like the drop in the bucket it is. But what do I know?

so what kind of carrer is getting all your bones and teeth broken for 10 000$ ? you ll give 8000 for your medical treatment.

Its like mining

The tv companys take almost half of the PPV money and Kelvin and Whittaker were meant to be getting a chunk of it too.
If any of them don't like it they could always go and earn less in Bellator, but the sponsor money in Bellator.... yeah of course.

Please help Israel

Can you fill in the gaps

the owners get it duh. like how all the billions from the nfl go to the owners 2.

You really think that only the fighters get payed and all the other staff works for free?
isn't that what ESPN deal should cover.
what about the investment from owners

Yeah but the league minimum in the NFL is like almost 1/2 million dollars. These guys also don't have to pay to use the training facilities or pay their coaches to coach them. They also get top of the line insurance and probably get free nike gear.

50% right off the top is a fucking drop in the bucket?

Because they look at the crude workload visible to the eye, but not the ingenuity to put the thing together, risk of loss, compromises with entities, that happen in the background. It's the thinking of a "comrade."

It's really because they are either teenagers or bums who live in their parents basements

so many things you are missing
-some fighters get percentage of gate
-PPV providers cut (mentioned)
-Stadium hire (and all the staff in it)
-promotion
-general UFC operational costs
-broadcast crew (including cameramen and studio equipment hire)

I am sure the UFC does well out of it but they are taking the most risk as well. If 0 sales and empty stadium they will still pay the fighters. Also I doubt sponsorship is in that range per event.

I wish I could get more money out of my organisation too. Guess what, that is not how it works. People who own the company make the real money, it isn't rocket science.

Aren't they also allowed individual sponsors that don't conflict similar to the NBA?

On those sweet TUF coach challenges, bro
