Snow on Dana’s driveway in the middle of August.

PPV provider gets 50% of sales. Local and International tax. Millions on marketing for a main event that never happened. UFC employee and subcontract pay: marketing, design teams, distributors, match makers, officials, doctors...then you have the usual event fees: fighter medicals, fighter & team flights, hotels and extras, legal fees, venue hire, commentary staff, insurance...

I'm not sure why Sherdoggers don't consider even a few of these expenses when making these threads. All they see is PPV + gate - fighter pay, like everyone and everything else involved is free.

I guarantee they lost money on this card, broke even at best. It was a complete disaster.

Went into Bosses' bank accounts, so they can buy private jets, 20 Lamborghinis, 10 mansions to store 15 mistresses inside, LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM, hanging out with celebrities in night club every fucking day.

Because they look at the crude workload visible to the eye, but not the ingenuity to put the thing together, risk of loss, compromises with entities, that happen in the background. It's the thinking of a "comrade."

The UFC underpays its fighters. Not always by as much as some fans seem to think, but they do. The fighters at the bottom could get a bit more, but truth is prelim fighters are easy come easy go for the UFC, so they aren't ever going to make more than say 20/20, and currently something like 14/14 seems sorta standard for the low tier. It's the mid and upper tier fighters who are really getting screwed imo. Most of them should be making double what they make now.

They should be paying out at least a third of revenue to the fighters, but there's not much upward pressure from Bellator and no fighter's association. Complaining in the mainstream sports media like ESPN could prove partially effective long term if WME thinks it hurts the brand.

That said, it's worth noting that the UFC is far and away the industry leader when it comes to fighter pay. Bellator prelims are the Vietnamese sweatshop of MMA.

Montana Del La Rosa got more money than Rani Yaya???? Fuck my life.

Yaya is a 16 fight UFC veteran.

And no I’m not bashing WMMA, facts are facts.
