    Me, personally....

    01.) Johny Hendricks
    02.) Robbie Lawler
    03.) Tyron Woodley
    04.) Rory MacDonald
    05.) Hector Lombard
    06.) Matt Brown
    07.) Carlos Condit
    08.) Dong Hyun Kim
    09.) Jake Ellenberger
    10.) Tarec Seffiedine

My rankings are probably shit but this was just off the top of my head.

Just got home from the event. It was insane. I thought Silva was dead for a moment.

I will admit even though I live around Cincy I was rooting for Silva and I'm still a fan of Silva and I'm a bigger fan of both. Fuck all the haters and naysayers about their cardio or technicality or this or that. That was what some people call a "fun fight" and it didn't make sense ranking wise but styles make fights and even though it was so one sided I felt like it was an absolute barnburner from start to finish.

Can we make Brown/Tarec just to see how Brown reacts to those kicks?

Number 4 or 5. He should get a title shot after that many finishes over that caliber of opponents.

If Woodley/Mcdonald is getting the next title shot, then Browns next fight should be for the next shot. Possibly against the winner of Lawler/Ellenberger

The fuck? No he shouldn't. It's a decent run, no doubt... but not one of those wins were top 10 ranked.

Valid point but consistency is almost a rarity in MMA. Brown has won 7 in a row and is undefeated for nearly 3 years. That's pretty impressive.

I agree with the possibility of #5 but I don't see him being able to skip Lombard, Woodley, MacDonald and Lawler. I think Brown should fight Lombard next and if he wins, give him a title snot after the dust settles and the best candidate emerges from the two main elimination fights coming up between Woodley/MacDonald and Lawler/Ellenberger.

Have to agree with majority here, since he has no top ten wins I couldn't rank him very high but would be happy to see him fight any of those in top ten for his next fight, it would be a treat for the fans win or lose I don't think it's possible for this guy to be in a boring fight

lol Brown wasn't even top 10 before this fight, he beats a guy who wasn't in the top 10 either and now he's as high as #5 on some lists? What kind of shit are you guys smoking? How do you guys have him in front of Dong or Tarec? Lol what the fuck

Seriously, I like Brown a lot and definitely am a fan of his fighting style and what he brings to the table, but he's not top 10 and he would get his shit pushed in by a majority if not all of the top 10.

He was ranked #7 by the UFC's MMA media collaboration.

I would say they are biased but they had Silva at #14 and despite that being kind of a gray area I'm not sure now many Welterweights war currently under contract with the UFC. He could be 14/20 or something like that. Or 14/50 with a lot of the guys making the debuts or coming off a loss in their debut. It's all about perspective. He might not have top ten wins but consistency and 7 wins over 2 1/2 years has to count for something.

I feel Silva's hype was based purely on his raw potential which is tremendous, even if he never achieves it. I don't know where he (Silva) goes from here, honestly. I'd love to see him in One FC.

May I see your top 11 if you don't mind? Or top 12 I suppose I should say?

I think someone like Ben Askren could probably give Brown lots of problems but I'm just curious. I was referring strictly to the UFC, which I assume you were as well and I'm curious, that's all.

    01.) Johny Hendricks
    02.) Robbie Lawler
    03.) Hector Lombard
    04.) Rory MacDonald
    05.) Tyron Woodley
    06.) Jake Ellenberger
    07.) Matt Brown
    08.) Carlos Condit
    09.) Dong Hyun Kim
    10.) Tarec Seffiedine

With these rankings, I honestly think that Kim and McDonald are the two best guys in the division right now. I also favor Brown, Lawler, Lombard, and Woodley over Hendricks. GSP is the best if he comes back. I'd also rank Diaz 3 or 4. I think Thiago Alves beats a lot, if not most of the top 10, but purely off rankings, I don't think he's top 10. Skill wise, he's great.

I can see Lombard, I don't know now you can favor Lawler over him but fair enough. I think Hendricks is a better version of Brown with better wrestling, better defense and admittedly less in the submission department.

I feel like the two best guys are potentially Woodley and Lombard.
