When you go out to eat

Sharing is soo much better. To the point that having separate plates is almost anti social.

If I am also having drinks, small plates or sharing FTW. I also do not like big meals when I am out....Get full and want to go to sleep. I also do not want to be a fat fuck. So small plates, apps, sharing, all work great.

Food looks small. Maybe spend 75 bucks on 3 plates and you can split it. You should ask your friend if they are comfortable though. There is COVID and stuff. I know some people aren't comfortable with sharing food.

If you want to eat heavy and drink. Maybe change the venue to Korean.

Depends on the restaurant I guess but I would share normally, didn't used to like sharing...

Filipino way is get big ass plates and all share, depending on setting & place, type of meal.
If it’s a business lunch… then no.
Friends & family, customary to share & what not.

Eating & socializing meal is a big deal here in PH family with friends.

I’ve adapted.
It’s a great social setting , & feels good, sharing food & ideas/stories & being more open/yourself with others.
I get it now.

That said first or early dates….
Nah. Fuck that.

Depends what sort of place it is. With Chinese, Thai and Korean I almost always share. If I’m having a steak you may have a chip but you will absolutely not be having any of my steak. Though I did share when I treated myself some Kobe beef at a Japanese place a few weeks ago.

Depends on the cuisine. Most of the time I get my own big plate though,

If it's lunch, each with their own plate.

Otherwise it's better to share, appetizers and stuff.

I hate it when people eat my food. When I was in uni I remember my roommates would always ask for “a bite of your sandwich” and would share food all the time, I always refused. Got hit in the nuts a lot but you just gotta wear a jock and eat your own sandwich

Depends on the place. If they have a good selection of appetizers then sharing is cool.

If I’m in the mood for something specific, them sorry but I’m getting my own plate.

either is cool with me

I live in Asia so sharing is the custom here
pretty used to it.
it rocks for having big spread and getting a bit of everything
but I wouldn't wanna share any of burgers, fries, tacos or subs

Italian, Greek and Asian food is something you must share. Asian food plated with rice is fine to eat alone. The only food that you shouldn't share are noodle soups, sandwiches and burgers/fries. Even steak is acceptable to share when you go to a nice place.

Don't be like these guys. The look on the Asian lady's face is priceless.
