They could do it. It would just require the right card, in the right venue, at the right time, with appropriately priced tickets.

Being in the 80,000th best seat is bad for boxing, but could you imagine watching grappling from that distance???


Id say only when they give away 50,000 free seats, I've been in the cheap seats at a 20,000 seat venue, can't see much of the striking, none of the grappling.

Hendricks vs Lawler did 20,000 almost all of which was gone just by the freaking pre-sale.

Hendricks vs Lawler 2 at cowboys stadium would easily do 50,000+ just on his name alone (I can't even begin to tell you how many people in Dallas told me that they tried to get tickets for UFC 171 and couldn't).

The city of Arlington freaking worships him (half of freaking Arlington would pay to see him fight).
