When will Ronda fight Holly Holm?

Yeah I can't wait to watch Big Rhonda fight another striking specialist.

I think they will fight soon, because Holly Holm is probably ready to retire after a few fights. I think she wants to fight a top 10 opponent and then get a title shot and then retire from MMA.

She's fought one before?
Bethe Correia was a K-1 level striker, bro. She knocked out Shayna Baszler.

When she gets a convincing win in the thin division. Looking overrated at the moment

Probably two fights after the Tate fight, is my guess.

Holm doesn't look up to the task to me.

What is she going to do? Out-point her for 5 rounds without Ronda getting a hold of her?

Man, two years ago Holm was one of the two saviors for the Ronda haters. Now that she's barely been impressive in the UFC that whole hype train is on life support lol.

No, the most likely way she could win (which is very unlikely no matter what she does) would be via headkick knock out. Ronda is working a lot on her boxing because it fits really well with ther judo game and she knows a lot of girls are afraid to kick her for fear of being taken down. But I would imagine she's far more open to headkicks than any other strikes, because I think she's working more on her boxing than her kickboxing.

If Holly Holm could land a good left cross and get Ronda to move back to avoid the cross, it would put Ronda in the range of her rear high kick, without any momentum to turn a block into a takedown attempt. Holly would just need to exploit those tiny openings where Ronda's moving away, in order to land her headkick.

But it's a bad fight for Holly, really. She doesn't really have enough power to keep Ronda at bay, so if Ronda just decides to swarm her and eat weak punches on her way in, like she did against Bethe, the fight is pretty much over.

Holm has the most telegraphed headkick in MMA though, you can see it coming a while ago and she just repeatedly spams it while throwing weak punches. Shes the very definition of a hype train crashing. The Rousey haters built her up to be this elite of the elite when shes just a boring middle of the pack fighter. Its a shame for Holly though, she could be a decent fighter, but the Ronda haters hyped her up so much that Holm is now just a disappointment.

Oh, I agree the hype is over the top. She looked good as an amateur against low level opponents. The combination of being a really good southpaw kickboxer with some unorthodox techniques like sidekicks with both legs makes her a big challenge for girls without a lot of striking experience. She's the only person I've seen in MMA who got a knockdown from a sidekick to the solar plexus, which is pretty cool.

I'm not saying she's the female Donald Cerrone, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if she landed a headkick on Ronda. When you don't have a lot of striking experience, it's such a classic mistake to drop your hands to block kicks, and I don't think Ronda is above doing that.

Holly should be fighting Ronda next. She doesn't need to fight a top 10 and lose because then the fight is down the toilet. It offers a fresh opponent with a small glimmer of hope and if it doesn't well who else were you gonna give her? Tate III? Some people say that Holly doesn't have a chance and I agree. But it's about the best opponent available and since Ronda has basically beaten everybody I think Holly should be next. I mean what's the worse that can happen, she lasts a minute? Holly has no power but good foot movement. Maybe she can stay away and score for a round or two. Who knows?

Some day when Ronda's bored and looking for a laugh.

Good points. She also uses her hands to setup the headkick which a lot of fighters don't do. She uses range and distance effectively which negates bull rushes. Seems like a lot of pressure was placed on her before she even entered the UFC and it all revolves around her fighting R3. My argument all along is that she adds depth to the WBW division and it was a crime not to sign her. She's a legit Top-10 talent that needs time to develop.

Is she really though? She's fought Rock'Em Sock'Em Robot style several times with no visible change.

Possibly after Tate when Cyborg wont/can't make 135

Probably after Tate? I think it's too risky to give Holm a top ten opponent, I think she loses to all the other Rousey contenders .
